I booked 10 days at the camp but ended up staying 4 weeks in total! Good place for solo traveling, everyone is so friendly and social. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Location is good. It is surf right in the front of the house, but you also get transport to other spots if you are passed the beginner stage. Will very much recommend it!

Everything was perfect. Nice rooms, owner, staff, lessons and food! Also a lot of different fun people staying at the camp. A good mix of surfing, yoga, partying and chilling. Really recommend if you want to have a very nice time while learning to surf!

Amazing experience at the surfers. It was perfect for me as a beginner, the teachers gave me good tips how to advance to intermediate. The place Is also really good for socialising and making new friends. The situation in Sri Lanka is not the best atm, but that was really never an issue at the surf camp. So go there and enjoy your surfing!

TheSurfer was simply the best place I could have stayed at and taken a beginners surf camp for a week. Lahiru, the Sri Lankan owner and his staff were extremely friendly and thoughtful and most importantly a fun group! There was a diverse group of other surfers there, from beginners to mid intermediates, but everyone benefitted because the Instructors were all experienced surfers (mix of expats and locals). TS is located just a minute walk from a fantastic beginners break and a few minutes walk from more intermediate breaks, and for the really fun (intermediate) break they took us out to Fishermans where there is an amazing gentle but challenging reef break. During my stay I had my best surf experience, best surf coaches helped to improve my surf level to the next level ! Thank you for everyone ! Atmosphere is the highlight of the stay , you will meet lot of new people during your stay ! It’s really nice and well organise surf camp ! I stayed in dormitory room ! Best value for money !
