This guest house has a view of where the river splits around the island. Quiet, is only interupted by the Buddhist chants from the nearby temple and an occassional rooster crow. The guest house has lovely teak wook throught, from stair cases, floors, furniturebe, balconies with sitting areas This is a family run hotel, so sometimes the desk is only...

The Mountain Riverview Guesthouse is definately great value for money. It is a very modern guesthouse with cable TV, hot water, and air conditioning, The rooms are big, airy, and clean, and each room has a nice balcony with chairs to relax on and either enjoy the river and mountain views or the passing parade on the street. While we...

Pros: - Great views if you are on the river/mountain side. - Good price. The mountain view rooms are just 20,000 kip more than the street view and worth it. The best part of the room is looking out the window or sitting on the balcony enjoying the view. 80,000 kip for fan, 110,000 kip for a/c on the river/mountain...

We spent 3 nights there. The rooms are spacious and clean, big comfortable bed. The bathroom was ok, the sink was leaking a bit. Good value (60.000kip/night). The staff was a little shy but very nice. The hotel is about 5 Min walking distance to the city center, so it´s quite quiet during nighttime but still in a good location....

It's a very clean and pleasant atmosphere. This is the only place we have ever stayed in Vang Vieng having visited there the first time in 2011 and then twice in 2012. We stayed on the river view side the first time and the street side the last two times Both sides are excellent!

A hostel is a beautiful building; interior is made of lovely typical Loa teak wood. You will be greeted at the entrance by a very friendly and chatty bird who can speak Lao and a few English words. We stayed on the 3rd floor in a very big and clean room with a balcony. The room has fan, hot shower,...

Only stayed here for two nights. Arrived without booking and they had a room available. Room was big and clean with a small balcony. Only went there for tubing, nice place, good location! No insects seen. Bed was a very large double. Didn't have much to do with the staff but they seemed pleasant! We did book bus with them...

The view from the room was stunning (keep in mind, they do have rooms on both sides of the hotel, we had a view room on the third floor). Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean, but rooms were not cleaned daily nor were new towels provided (unless you ask). Beds were pretty hard, even for Asia, but what...

WARNING: I caught the cleaning ladies (they live there) as they wanted to steal my valuables. The reaction of the management was kinda like: they didn't steal anything yet, so what's the problem? DON'T STAY THERE!
