A room, a bed, a bathroom that worked with a little help. WiFi that worked. Aircon that did not. Not very interesting. No breakfast but plenty of places nearby. No noise in the night. One of those rooms that you forget on the way out the door. Not bad, but ...

This guesthouse is located close to everything you could need and is quite comfortable to boot. The beds are soft, the staff are helpful and the wifi actually stays connected. The showers in the ensuite rooms are a little small but it does the job.

I booked here for 3 nights during my trip to Laos. The budget was fine for short holidays but for long term travelers it might be a bit pricey. The room was basic but clean and to be honest in Vang Vieng you spend most days out exploring. The hotel was located at the end of one of the busy...

We stayed for three nights in this guesthouse and it is a basic backpacker guesthouse with all pros and cons. Rooms were OK, beds were a little bit hard, bathrooms small and dirty. There is a wifi (as everywhere in Laos), but it wasn't warking in the most of the time. The guesthouse is located in the south end of...

the wifi works well in the lobby area, and not so great in the rooms. we think that they somehow turn the wifi off at night because it didn't seem to work any nights past like 10/11. the rooms didn't have very many plug ins and the bathroom wasn't ideal. the shower had hot water. the guy working at the...

I think they actually put us in the hotel. But the room was clean, big and very nice for the price. The wifi is pretty bad: we couldn't use it from the room, and even in the common area the speed was very bad. The staff is not always helpful.

Basic but comfortable. Curtains are wafer thin and don't do anything. You can hear every word said by people in the corridor. Tea/coffee available downstairs free of charge before 10 am but after that you have to pay. Wifi doesn't work in rooms just at end of corridor where router is situated. Large rooms. No fridge.

We stayed in room 288. The toilet button needs to be held down in order to flush the toilet, and if you like a hot shower as I do, you need to compensate by giving up on the amount of water flow.. As in the faster the water flows the colder it gets, (full flow on maximum heat = Luke...

We stayed at the Kamphone Guesthouse for 2 nights during a recent trip to Laos. We would recommend this as a good place to stay in Vientiane. ROOM • Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. • The décor & furnishings were simple but comfortable. • The bed was large and very firm but comfortable. • The air-conditioning worked very...

First impressions on arrival at the Khamphone were good. The corridor floors were immaculate due to a no shoes policy and the Wifi password was posted on the walls in the public areas. Our room was sparsely furnished but clean and with a comfortable bed. The AC was top notch and cooled down super quick. Wetroom was functional enough with...
