Had a nice time with family...food was very succulent...special mention to the pastries and pizza...they were very delicious...entertainment program at night was very good and we all enjoyed ourselves
Tamassa hotel is a very beautiful place. They have very friendly and good staff. Love the environment and also their garden of wishes and giant games which are very unique apart from other hotels. Their dinner buffet, burger truck and also dinner a la carte was splendid and taste so good. They have a lot variety of foods in their buffet and we took an all inclusive package which was great. There was also a sunset ritual which was the first time we assisted, we loved it so much. Will surely go there again! Thank you to all the staff who cared and helped us. ❤️
This resort is a great economical choice The rooms space and cleaning are great, we got a room with a fair view Food: we had the half board choice which includes breakfast and dinner (dinner without drinks) Breakfast buffet is excellent with different choices, they serve delicious coffee and drinks. Mr. Edinho (the baker) does the greatest croissant in Mauritiuas (tastes like an authentic parisian croissant) and when he saw my nephew crying at the dinner wants a croissant he gave us a box the next. Morning to have it for the day We tried Playa the beach restaurant for dinner and it was just OK. On the other hand, the dinner buffet was big and contains many different choices (chicken, beef, seafood and vegetarian options) and they serve a great collection of ice cream and sorbets (litchi and passion fruit were my favorite) Activities: They offer free kayak, paddle, pedalo, glass bottom boats and snorkeling according to a schedule. We tried the kayak for short period as the current was strong. My family tried the glass bottom boat and they liked it They have gym, playing room and outdoor chess and ginga great for fun Spa: We tried one of their signature spas and it was very good and relaxing, recommended Staff: Friendly and welcoming though the check in was too slow but they were nice…

This is our 2nd time in Bel Ombre, Mauritius. The last time in 2018 we stayed at Outrigger, which we loved. Tamassa is directly next to Outrigger so we knew what to expect of the area, the beach and the sea. Both times we have found the people and atmosphere of Mauritius to be friendly, relaxed and a whole world away from the UK - exactly what you want of a holiday. Tamassa is ranked a 4 star hotel and you can tell the difference between it and Outrigger, which is 5 star. We preferred the room decor, the standard of service and the quality of food at Outrigger but that's not to say that we didn't enjoy our time at Tamassa. After a stressful few years the relaxation found at Tamassa was exactly what we needed. Some of the staff could of been a bit more attentive to guests but once they get to know you they will look after you. The resident manager, Giany and the duty manager, Lena were really helpful, friendly and it was clear that guest satisfaction and hotel reputation were at the heart of their jobs. Food was pretty good and varied. Especially enjoyed the burgers from the food truck and meals at Playa - you can go as many times as you like, you do need to book though. Pool was cold but once you're in, it's fine. Our 12 year old daughter enjoyed snorkeling in the sea and made friends around the pool. Gift shop was OK, a little small and a bit pricey. We actually walked next door to Outrigger to buy some souvenirs which were less pricey. I did have to get some medical treatment for an ear infection whilst I was there. I was looked after well by the resident nurse and a local doctor who came to the hotel. We came without the intention of going off site, we just wanted to chill out which we did but we did walk to the Seashell Museum which is 10 mins away. Wasn't expecting much but actually it was really interesting and inexpensive to enter. Our daughter likes geocaching and there was one nearby which after a bit of searching we found. We would like to make mention of one of the barman/servers at the Playa bar - Abhisheik. This man knows about customer service and goes the extra mile - other staff could learn a lot from him. We found everyone to be really friendly and helpful and keen to make your stay enjoyable. We last went in December so it was much warmer than August. It is the end of their winter season but still mid 20's and plenty warm enough to sit out and enjoy the sun.... and burn! We will return to Mauritius again.…
We came here for 2 days for our honeymoon stay and fell in love with the ambience, scenery and service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staffs were eager and motivated to help us. The food was excellent, chef Sandiren was exceptional, and ensured that our pallet needs were met. He helped us find beautiful spots around the area and also introduced us to new food and exciting foods at different locations at the hotel. The burger truck had some exceptional burgers. My favourite ones were the Island and Tamassa burger and it comes with fries/salad- I picked the salad and it was fresh and juicy The hotel ambience was lovely & very serene and they had loads of activities to keep us busy and entertained We had a wonderful stay at Tamassa Bel Ombré. The environment and the atmosphere helped us to relax. A shout out to Chef sandiren Chef edhino Chef Darel Chef kunal Rachel, yesha and yovanna from burger truck Beatrice, vilasha and altaaf from show restaurant Geraldo, Drishtee, dimple from pastry We were so impressed with my breakfast and the activities planned for us.A big thank you for the surprise of Champagne and the cake to make our honeymoon so special. We we’re very impressed with the quality of the food and the etiquette’s of staff who made our stay a memorable one. The chefs took a lot of trouble to meet our expectations and cater to our needs as we both were vegan and needed more attention with the ingredients used for cooking.Overall we enjoyed the trip the most and will definitely be back hopefully soon.…
