Upper Pines is close to most points of interest. Yosemite is a gorgeous, but very crowded park, even in May. The shuttle bus system helps, but drivers are 'stressed' and one was incredibly rude to passengers. Park system needs to add more buses and drivers and do a better job with signage at the bus stops to explain how the...

Lovely Campgrounds. Our site was right at the edge so it had a beautiful view of half dome and was right beside a little river. We arrived late in the evening and left the next morning so we never met any staff members but the amenities were very clean and the site was a perfect size for our camper. would...

We loved it so much. Relaxing and quiet can't wait to go back again. We would love to get one that is a little more private and not facing the camp in front of you but otherwise we would stay there again. Great space and love the convenience of everything nearby. Hear he waterfalls all night long.

Had 4 campsites (number 77 and surrounding ones) - 3 motorhomes, hammock, van to camp in. Big family reunion. Centrally located to do anything you want to do in The Valley. Walk to the Majestic (Ahwahnee) is about 15-20 minutes. The Valley loop goes right by the campground. Near Half Dome village (used to be Curry village). We just love...

We were in site 32 which was on the curved end and had no one behind us and more space between us and the neighboring sites. The site was typical, with a picnic table, fire pit, and bear box. In the first loop of 52 campsites there were 2 bathrooms with 2 stalls each, so be prepared. Our site had...

Nestled between towering granite and within walking distance of so much natural beauty, this was an amazing place to camp. Friends of ours gave us a number of tips and tricks, to the extent that we were analysing the siteplan at both here and the neighbouring sister site to the extent our eyes were going square. Not that it mattered;...

Camp sites are small and crowded together. We had an RV, so we had our own water and bathroom, but we did walk over and check out the bathrooms to see if they had showers, but they were pretty basic - no showers or soap. They do have an RV station where you can fill your water and dump sewer...

Very good location, it is in the middle of the yosemite national park. You can walk to the famous Mist trail in the park. There are many washrooms and they are clean. There is also a BBQ spot, and it is really nice to make a fire and eat smore or BBQ in the middle of Yosemite

We made a reservation three months before arrival and were very lucky: in june there was only one spot left for august. Make sure you make a reservation in time! In that case you are able to sleep at one of the three campings in the middle of the national park. The location couldn’t be any better. As the name...

Upper Pines was a delightful place to stay. There was plenty of room at each campsite (we got last minute reservations and stayed at 28 and 27). The one thing I will say is that it rained during our time there and our second site--27 flooded to an unmanageable extent. It was mostly the paved part where we parked but...
