The hotel was descent, so I really don't understand the other rave reviews. What we found most disagreeable was the size of the beds. We are by no means overweight people. My wife is 5'2" and weighs 116, I'm 5'10" and weigh 175. However, we are used to queen size beds, which I think you find in 99 percent of...

It is part of Canyon Lodge and has to book through Canyon Lodge. It has 4 levels of about 8 rooms each. I was told only this but not the other building has the elevator. If you need it, please mention the elevator when booking. The location is in the middle of the park, so it is around 1.5 hours...

We spent one night at the Dunraven Lodge during our recent Yellowstone trip. Actually, we made a reservation at the Canyon Lodge, we didn't know we were staying at the Dunraven Lodge until we arrived there: for this reason I'm surprised that Dunraven and Cascade Lodges are separated here on TripAd: they are just two buildings (which look identical from...

Our stay at Dunraven Lodge was a lovely experience. The room was spotless. They had a K-cup coffee maker in the room. The bathroom is a bit small and the overhead florescent lighting is a bit harsh. Beds were comfy with extra blankets for warmth if needed. There's a nice congregation room on the second floor with a nice view....

Stayed 2 nights. Was on an upper floor looking out into the woods. No AC in the room but there was an oscillating fan and a breeze from the window. Was quiet and clean. The beds are only doubles so be warned it will be cramped if there are two of you on a bed. Had an elevator. You aren't...

I've reviewed this lodging under Canyon Lodging but am adding a review here specifically for Dunraven. We stayed here 1 night and it was perfect....clean, updated, quiet...and a perfect location to venture out. I believe Dunraven Lodge is part on the Canyon Cabins and Lodges. When making our reservation back in January for 3 rooms in June, Dunraven was requested...

I would highly recommend staying inside Yellowstone, it's the only way to enjoy the park. We stayed 4 nights at Dunraven and the accomodations far exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean and queit. We were on the second floor which was really the first floor and never heared any noise from the other rooms. The staff was very...

If you want to stay in this area, Dunraven is very nice. I however liked and prefered Roosevelt. When I come back, I will probably just stay there. The Dunraven is very clean, has a coffee (Kerug) pot, everything looks almost new. It is close to Hayden Valley where we seen bears.

I had lower expectations based on reviewing this location before the trip. However felt it necessary to stay in the park for convenience and better utilization of our time. Spent 3 mights here. Anticipated we would just have to tolerate inferior accomodations in order for the convenience of being in the park. However rooms were modern, clean, and very attractive....
