Reserved two "superior" rooms in this brand new lodge and both were spotless and well outfitted and designed. Top quality finishing touches and amenities. Would absolutely reserve here again. Canyon Lodge is centrally located for day trips all over this wonderful Park.

Our family of 5 had a two queen deluxe room in Chitendon (sp?). The lodges are all new and very nice. There is plenty of parking and you can walk to the food options in the village. Our room had a fridge and was a great setup for our family. Canyon is a great place to stay as you are...

We travelled the entire loop around Yellowstone. We stayed at the Canyon Cabin and it was great. Hayden Valley is a must see as well as all the other sites. The driving time is something to account for as the bison took to the roads and slowed the traffic to a stop but worth it to watch them up close....

Location, location, location. If you want to be near a number of the different options in Yellowstone this area is perfect. Yellowstone Falls was very nearby and the trip to the geysers was easy. There were also lots of animals in the area; bison, elk, bear, and birds! The hotel room does not have AC, but it cooled off at...

We stayed in the Hayden building for our 5 days in Yellowstone. The rooms were new, clean, and had everything we needed. The refrigerator makes an annoying gurgle and has a blue light that you'll need to cover in order to sleep. Otherwise, the rooms are fantastic and we had a porch with a view. There are no TVs and...

The canyon is one of 5 or 6 "villages" located within the park. Outside of these areas there are few services. The canyon lodges are operated for the Park Service by the concessionaire Xanterra. Most of the lodges are recently renovated or are new. Given the location, unfortunately there is limited options to sit outside as there are no balconies...

We stayed at this Lodge style accommodation within Yellowstone National Park for 2 nights (22nd & 23rd July 2016) travelling as a family of 4 (kids aged 16 & 6). There has currently been a lot of construction work here and alongside the older lodges there are now recently completed lodges. Our accommodation was located in a new building and...

We booked 2-bed room of premium lodge for 3 days, and stayed at Cascade Lodge, which is the farest to the registration. Since there are new building under construction, the road to Cascade is rough. The lodge is not facilitated with lift, so we have to take our large luggages by stairway to the room. The room is clean, but...

We were braced for disappointment and austerity after reading some reviews here - but were fully satisfied with our lodging at Canyon (stayed at "Moran" building in a "superior" room). Our building was newer (i.e. 2-4 years old as a guess), and the furnishings and amenities fine. Room was plenty large for family of 4 (small kids) with just a...

We got lucky to find accommodations in the park. Canyon villa is central location to all the attractions in the park being equidistant. We spent 5 nights in the park and spend 1 day covering geysers, one day at mammoth, one day at canyons and day driving to Beartooth highway. We did a lot of local hikes and mount Washburn...
