I never expect fancy at National Parks and in winter this is the only place at Old Faithful to stay. No cars or trucks get in and almost everyone must come on either a snow coach or snowmobile.

I have only visited in the summer but, without snow, it was only about a 2 1/2 hour, absolutely gorgeous, drive from the Snow Lodge to Jackson. I don't think there is any way to get there other than driving.
