The cabin is charming and immaculate, the view of the mountains across the lake is fantastic and the hosts gracious and accommodating. They went out of they way to make us get the most out of our visit. We felt lucky to have found this place.

All the amenities that one usually doesn't get in the Alaskan wildness. No "roughing it" required for the guests. Good heat, bedding, hot water/shower, fridge/micro, delicious home cooked breakfast. Wifi and just enough cell service to stay connected (but not so good that you are always checking your phone for messages/calls)

Such a nice place ! A comfortable and quiet cabin in front of the Lake, built by Jim himself ! Linda was very helpful We stayed two nights there and on another night, driving back from Valdez, it was late, we didn't where to stay, called her at 9.30pm cause we were close to them and she made everything ready...

Seriously this is the nicest B&B we've ever stayed at, and we have travelled all over the world.  It is hard to say anything new, because it has been said so well by the previous reviewer Shirley H and others. There is only one cabin and it is so memorable. It is just as one imagines an Alaska cabin should...

This was the highlight of our trip!! A beautiful cabin on a pond, with a beautiful view of the Wrangell_Ellis chain. Incredible details by the owners into every inch of the cabin, a true Alaskan Experience. The owner was gracious, and gave us a wonderful tour of his home and collections. Stories of mining, hunting, and family accompanied a great...

We booked our stay at Willow Lake B&B over a year in advance since I had our itinerary planned and knew this is where I wanted to stay during our journey. The emails back and forth with Linda were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived, it was just as I had pictured, a beautiful hand built cabin by Jim,...

What could be better than staying in your own little cabin on the shore of a beautiful Alaskan lake, looking across at spectacular mountains? My favorite memory is sitting on the deck having a cup of tea and watching and listening to a pair of trumpeter swans landing on the lake, with their loud trumpeting echoing off the hills. We...

We traveled across the Denali Highway and then arrived at this "true Alaskan Cabin" that was so nice and peaceful..situated on Willow Lake. There is just the one well built beautiful cabin. A delicious breakfast was prepared for my husband and I in the owner's also beautifully built home the next morning. We drove around Copper Center which was a...

As a B&B this is clearly a labour of love - and great to see the photos of Jim building it! A stunning location by Willow Lake, the cabin is comfy, roomy & quiet - despite how close it is to the Highway. If you do stay here be sure to take a couple of hours to drive to Valdez...

Its hard to put words to our thoughts because we really loved this place. It's just a great place to get away and relax.
