Very well done - an 19th century hotel that has been renewed with nicely appointed small rooms (they way they renovated them makes the best use of small spaces I've seen). Great people, nice open-plan bar and restaurant. Food is wonderful - including the event food service - when everyone goes back for seconds on veggies - the chef has...

The Gould was cool, serene & welcoming on a hot Friday July 4th weekend when we pulled in after a few travel days -- with h High ceilings, open areas and polished wood floors. The desk was pleasant and professional when there was a minor room glitch. Colorful art modernizes & enlivens the beautifully renovated hotel. Our room was large...

We were surprised how updated and non-hotel looking the design was of this hotel. It's definitely a boutique style hotel. The front desk clerk was so nice and helpful to us who needed ice, to my sister who needed and extra roll out bed. He did it all with a smile on his face. I really liked him. Our rooms...

Booked two nights for July weeks in advance, through booking.com. On arrival on the busy July 4th weekend , my family an other visitors were miraculously lost the confirmed booking and the other were given the rooms . The Gould is a beautifully renovated old hotel with large, crisp, clean spacious rooms. The bathroom is beautifully done in marble. The shower is huge! The bed was very comfortable - not too hard. A continental breakfast is provided in the morning...the home made muffins are outstanding! About a 40 min drive from Cornell but a lovely drive. Take in...

Looking for a nicer place to dine coming off the canal other than a tavern? Seek out the Gould Hotel. Sit down and be comfortable. Casual dress was fine. We shared the calamari appetizer which was very nice. The St Louis ribs were good but the sides of Mac and cheese and baked beans were the surprise stars. Good job!...

The Gould worked tirelessly to make sure my wedding was magical. From customizing my "Breakfast for Dinner" menu to creating a new cocktail to setting up the tables with extra care, they were awesome! They catered (off site) and it was delicious and everything was the perfect temperature. I love them!!!!

Inside the simple exterior of this historic building is a surprisingly chic hotel. The room although small is sophisticated, fun and sexy. Unexpected touches include a full-length silver gilt mirror, leather loveseat, hardwood floors and a crystal chandelier. The bathroom was update (great shower) and well appointed. Don't remember if there was a fridge but the Keurig coffee maker was...

The rooms are spacious, newly remodeled, and very nice. The hotel is on the main strip so you can walk to everything in this small town. The restaurant closes early (10 p.m.) and the bar closes at midnight. Overall a nice place to stay. A special thank you to Nicole for the delicious pie!
