We stayed here at the end of a long trip through South Dakota and before heading home. We reached Hot Springs tired and needing rest. We were very warmly and pleasantly greeted by the owner, a very friendly and accommodating man. We had reserved two queens, but had decided we'd ask for two adjoining rooms. He didn't bat an eyelash...

Another family owned motel, sometimes your best bet in small towns rather then a chain. The owners at the hills inn take great pride in their establishment. Very Clean, Comfortable and good rates. Gave us a few ideas of where to go for dinner and breakfast. Would stay again if ever in the area.

We were traveling to Chadron, NE for a graduation. The town of Chadron was completely booked so we stayed about an hour away in Hot Springs. This motel is owned and run by a Polish family. It was nice to be greeted by name upon check in. We had originally booked a 4 day stay, but our plans had changed....

Nice clean and comfortable place. Flat screen TV with aux HDMI so watching movies from my tablet was easy. Big bathroom area was better with a couple getting ready together. Pool was not open in April and since it was snowing it was not needed.

Very clean, super friendly and welcoming staff, the bed wasn't super hard, shower pressure was a little low but manageable, free small breakfast with coffee, parking outside your door, and great internet. We were driving through and stopped here to stay for one night and were impressed with everything! I would recommend this place.

We rolled into Hot Springs after a day of touring the Mt. Rushmore and Deadwood areas and after driving by a few places, we decided on the Hills Inn and it was great! (It was April 20th so it was off season and there was plenty of rooms) Nice old school Motel but very nicely maintained and clean, comfortable rooms....

This hotel is nice, great location, very clean and has great rates. The owners run it and are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh (basic continental breakfast). It's an older building, so the heater/ac unit is oddly placed, but it works.

We were impressed as to how neat and clean the property and rooms were. It's an older facility, but it's obvious they're working hard to maintain and upgrade it and for the most part, they're quite successful. The room was quiet and the wall heater worked well. Continental breakfast was the usual prepackaged carbs w apples and bananas. Is it...

While dated, this facility is clean and managed by a wonderful couple. It had all that is required by a traveler, refrigerator, microwave, heat/air conditioning and hot coffee in the morning (the mini-donuts hardly count). Still, a good value.

The thunderstorm caught us as we drove through Custer State Park late in the afternoon. After a torrential downpour, we emerged into a sweeping vista of spectacular sky and Black Hills scenery as we rolled into Hot Springs. We were happy to reach the Hills Inn just at sunset. The hotel is just out of the center of town with...
