The Hot Springs KOA has a very warm and friendly staff. However, if you operate a larger motorcoach 40-45', be cautious of where they put you. There are low overhanging branches and very close trees for your slide outs. Be ready for a constant bouncing of ponderosa pinecone so if the wind blows. Smaller rvs won't have any problems. Safe... We enjoyed this site very much. The KOA was family friendly with a nice playground, mini golf and tether ball and pool. Wifi was strong and the facilities were clean and spacious. RV spots were flat and accessible to many size RVs. Staff were super friendly and were very accommodating. The showers were super clean but water pressure a little... More

Sites were mostly shaded, close together & uneven but the KOA was very clean & friendly. The bathrooms were fantastic & even decorated. We stayed one night but ate breakfast cooked in their picnic area. For a small cost there were eggs, bacon, toast & all-you-can-eat pancakes. (Plus more) That made it easy to get on the road early in... More

We had a 31' class C RV with slideouts on both sides. Easy to find location, nice staff, our site had picnic table, pool looked nice even though we ended up going to Evans Plunge instead (which was nice!), showers were AWESOME (thanks to Rose!). Only drawback was that many sites were not level. We were only there for one... More

We spent the night here while we were touring South Dakota. They have a pool, mini golf course, and rec room. It's a calm park and I would stay here again if I was passing through. Staff were kind and courteous.

Our family vacation this year was spent visiting some of the attractions in South Dakota. We decided to stay at the KOA in Hot Springs due to its location to Custer National Park, Mount Rushmore along with other attractions. We spent four nights camping at this location and enjoyed it. The tent sites were very roomy with tons of space... More

We stayed for two nights here after around three weeks on the road all over Wyoming and South Dakota. We were treated to friendly and efficient service from the owner and all of the staff! It is clean and well-kept with Wi-fi and cable that (MIRACLE😊) WORKED! The sites are pull-through with trees everywhere! The pool was lovely and they... More

Nice, clean cabins under fantastic sky full of stars. comfortable for 4 people. We stayed only one night and did not use any other facilities except bathrooms. Shower was right temperature and no lines to use it.

I am so sick and tired of lousy interrnet service. This is finally one campground that understands you can't put everything through one router!!!!! We found the staff to be super friendly, the interenet service well above average, and the restrooms to be extremely clean. Yes, you do hear some highway noise, but not really very bothersome. The site wasn't... More

We spent 3 nights here while visiting the Black Hills. Good value. Trees! Quiet - yes you can hear highway noise, but it isn't a nuisance. We did not use the pool but it looked clean. There are people checking on things throughout the day and evenings. Good pizza too. We had a 50 amp pull through spot. Large enough... More
