Front desk (Shayne) was smiling and ready for us before we approached the desk! (Today that is unusual!) She made us feel very welcome! She was extremely helpful and professional! Hotel was clean and overall experience was outstanding! (Only reason we couldn’t give 5 stars was because upon checkout the person was texting and we had to wait for her to finish before being acknowledged.)
First of all if you self park for this hotel do not use the Whex Garage which is somewhat connected to the hotel. The skywalk is chained and locked that goes to the hotel so we had to walk out of the garage then down the sidewalk to to go the hotel. The water in the shower did not get very warm and the bed did not have a comforter which in the end was a good thing because the room was so warm. The mini fridge did not work. It was there but had a sign saying it would keep the temperature of the room. I would not recommend.
One of the nicer hotels downtown. Location on edge of business district avoids traffic congestion when driving or parking. Dinners at restaurant are a nice convenience as is 24-hour coffee shop. Will stay again in the future.
I had higher expectation for Hyatt. My first room did not have hot water and customer service had me wait while they attempted to "repair" it. It took roughly an hour before they switched my room. The rest of the stay was your average hotel stay. Rooms do not have microwaves so plan accordingly. It's all paid parking so research the options and expect public parking rates and durations to change daily.
This Hotel was in a great location with many restaurants within walking distance. Friendly staff, good amenities with a nice place for our team to work in the lobby area. The room was nicely appointed as well,
I have stayed in this hotel before and everything about this hotel has been improved upon. The hotel is clean spacious and the staff are lovely. An all round lovely experience, made better by the staff in every department. I did find the food on offer to be lacking in vegetables and fruit. Maybe other people don't eat this type of food.
Our room was upgraded to a king suite on high floor and ready for early Check-in & without asking. Everything was very clean, spacious & the staff were helpful & friendly. Would highly recommend staying here. Only slight problem was valet was closed & had to pay to park across street in parking garage.
I welcome a QUIET and COZY room at the Hyatt after a long day of road travel and business meetings! This downtown property in Cincinnati, OH did not disappoint, the room was immaculate, the bedding was HIGH QUALITY and I slept well. While I was too close to the elevator (completely my fault for not asking for a quiet room, AWAY from the elevator). The room next door was like a revolving door, someone was IN and OUT ALL NIGHT, door closing seemed like EVERY HOUR. However, once I finally went to sleep, I rested well. Staff at this property were courteous and professional, from the valet to the front desk agent.
Only concern was how cold the building was throughout—meeting space, exhibit area, lobby, guest room. Glass throughout made everything cold in January. Otherwise experience was great! Front desk and valet staff were excellent!
Very clean hotel with excellent service and food. Very close to buses, Tram and trolley to get around easy without driving your car. Duke Energy Center right across the street and fun ice skating one block away. The weather was very cold and windy so we were disappointed that the SKY WALK WAS CLOSED but other than that…excellent trip!
