Walked into the bathroom to find the toilet clogged and full of poop.I called the front desk to get a new room. Man at the front desk told me the maintenance guy would clean it after he fixed it. I watched the maintenance guy just wipe it down. With a toilet filled with poop and dirty, makes me wonder what else wasn’t cleaned, which is why I wanted a new room. The shower bench was moldy at the legs. This place has very questionable sanitary standards. They served a hot breakfast to include a waffle never, sausage, cheese omelet (looked packaged made) and the other typical breakfast cereal and bagels. You have to pay for parking here.
Upon arriving I found adequate and well lit parking. The staff greeted me as a Hilton Honors member and gave me the complimentary goodie bag. The reception area was very clean and nice. The room was spacious, clean, and well furnished. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed that I have ever slept in! Check in and check out were uneventful and the rates were excellent fir the location near CCHMC.
From arrival until departure, I felt like the hotel staff was completely engaged in my stay. They were professional, willing to help, smiling, and just, plain nice! Rare to find this effort from top to bottom. I will definitely be staying here when I'm back in the area.
I have never stayed in a room where there was excrement on the carpet. The bathroom had a dirty ring around the outside of the tub. It was truly disgusting. There were bars on the windows and we were supposed to be in the second floor.
We stayed here through a donor program. My fiancé is donating to save a life. The issue here is that the beds are like sleeping literally on the floor. You may actually be better off sleeping on the floor. I asked the front desk if they were willing let us switch rooms and the manager told me that they could BUT it’s all the same bed— which I’m not sure about after reading other reviews saying the bed was plush and comfortable. Avoid this Hampton Inn and go somewhere else like 5 minutes away in Newport.
My sister had her IPad taken by staff. Of course they deny it and it’s our word against theirs so they are doing absolutely nothing about it. Her iPad was in the room and they claim it was never seen. I couldn’t be more disgusted with a hotels staff.
Customer Service was excellent.Front desk staff greeted my family with a smile.Welcome to Hamilton Inn&Suites. Room was very nice and clean stayed in a suite very accommodating for my family of 4. Will stay again when in Cincinnati, Ohio
be aware that there will be a lot of students... Ensure you validate your parking (if applicable). If you walk around at night, it does not feel very safe (may be it is, but i did not feel safe). ....
Gotta say, the service at the front desk was superb. I thoroughly felt welcomed when I arrived. My interaction with every employee was very nice. Location can't be be for the U of Cincinnati. My son and I walked around the campus- only about 2 -3 blocks away. Room was a standard room- nothing too fancy or outstanding. One or two hairs on a towel, but that's really the only thing I can think of. Breakfast was substantial enough.
The property is mostly clean and well cared for. Staff is pleasant and friendly. The picture of the property online doesn’t give justice to the tight parking lot. The also charge $9 per day for parking. The worst thing is the other guests at this place. Very unruly, loud and inconsistent of other guests. I asked the front desk if they could address and I was up until 2 am due to the noise.
