We have stayed here twice in the past year. Last year was good, this year better. We had a room they had updated. Laminate flooring, fresh paint. Obviously some of the old fixtures had been repurposed, but the place was clean. The pool area is simple (think 60’s roadside motel) but in good repair & stocked with pool toys. No coffee pot in the room but free coffee at the adjacent convenience store. Friendly staff. Fridge & microwave in the room. Great bargain. We will stay here again.
Don't let this older style hotel fool you! No, it's not the Ritz, but the people are amazingly friendly, the A/C blows cold, and the outdoor pool is refreshing. Of course it's also value priced. We will definitely stay again.
We stayed at the Capri about 6 yrs ago when it was owned by an elderly couple. It was very clean and comfy. We came back and did not find the same place. The room was dirty, hairs on the sheets, broken light fixture in the bathroom, moldy water in the coffee pot. We returned here because of our previous experience, we will NOT return.
This old style motel is clean and comfortable, no frills. No breakfast but options are nearby. For 65 dollars per night we were pleasantly surprised at the tidy rooms and friendly front desk guy. The same owner has the mini mart next door so sometimes the office is closed, but help is at the mini mart. I would not mind coming back even though I’m a gold member with Hilton and Marriott.
We visited last year , it was an older place but got great reviews . My thought process was stay st s less expensive place with good reviews , and have more money to airbus on wine . Last year dealing with Danny the owner was great ! The place was clean and he was hospitable . This year quite different , you have to check in at the store next to hotel , the sheets and towels were stained , the phone doesn’t call anyone at front desk anymore , so if you need something you need to go to the store and talk to them . Our room was not cleaned all day . After asking were Danny was the guy at the store abruptly said he’s not the owner . The po was like a swamp and not full or clean . When we asked for extra blankets and towels the cleaning lady brought stained towels to us. We will not be staying here anymore -…
