The few staff members that we saw were friendly but the property was run-down. I was expecting an old antebellum B&B, but this was old and unkept. We stayed in the carriage house and the drapes were falling off of the windows and the toilet was broken (I managed to fix it). The carpets, bed linens, and drapes were very...

We were intrigued by the history of Cedar Grove but very disappointed in the condition of the grounds & buildings. It definitely needs some maintenance and a good cleaning. The restaurant staff was very friendly and the food was good but again, in need of a good cleaning.

The house and grounds here are outstanding. And the staff is incredibly service-minded. Each of the rooms is named for a famous Civil War personality and each is very different in character. Let me be honest, I have some writing projects where I could use a month in seclusion to do my work. If the WiFi had been better (it...

Room quant chic, but as with many of these gussied up older properties the outlets, towel hooks, and shower head heights not ideal. Service in the restaurant was below marginal at best. The collateral available for the history mentioned a particular piece worth north of $1MM. I think it's time to sell it.

Best to sign up for a guided tour. We paid $6 per person to do a self guided tour which was all that was available. The rooms are not identified and the paper given to read was very difficult to figure out so it was a real waste.

My husband and I stayed overnight in this wonderful old mansion. Every employee that we came in contact with were delightful and helpful. We had breakfast and dinner, the food was good although a little pricey. My husband had the blackened seafood pasta (which I tried), it was wonderful and a very large portion. I had the ribeye which was...

This B&B has lots of history! 33 rooms to choose from! We stayed in the Yazoo Suite that had a balcony with a view of the Mississippi River! We had supper and breakfast restaurant with amazing food and service. Our package included both meals and a beautiful fruit and cheese tray and the most delicious chocolates! We chose to take...

We love to stay at Cedar Grove Mansion Inn & Restaurant. Though it is in need of some repairs it still is a beautiful property with well manicured landscaping and even a little pool to enjoy. The staff bends over backwards to make sure your stay is special - especially Rhonda who helped us with our reservations. Shunta, the chef,...

We stayed in room 1, the Grant room. Great period furnishings and comfortable accommodations. We enjoyed the self tour of the grounds, and dined at the restaurant for dinner, as well as the included breakfast. The food and service were both spot on. We plan on visiting again soon.

Great place. Rooms are quirky but you're encouraged to visit before you check-in. We walked into and back from town in the evening; 10 minutes walk. The evening hotel menu is exceptional if you don't fancy getting out. Grounds at the hotel are beautiful, small but perfect swimming pool, ample parking and all the staff very welcoming. Cooked breakfast in...
