A sophisticated boutique hotel located on the famed Gold Coast of Waikiki, the Lotus Honolulu, is a marriage of urban
sophistication with warm Hawaiian hospitality. Nestled between Kapiolani Park and a spectacular white sand beach,
this newly renovated hotel offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki with remarkable views of
majestic Diamond Head and the ocean.
Wow. Such a nice clean hotel and LGBT friendly. Christieann was so friendly and helpful for everything from recognizing our status as a gay married couple to recommendations for local eateries, and activities. She also made sure we got access to the complimentary bikes for an afternoon bike ride. Her cheerful spirit and accommodation made us feel so welcome, and made this an experience to remember. I highly recommend this perfectly located hotel when your destination is Waikiki. By the way, the zen feel of the hotel makes you feel so relaxed.
After extensive research about hotels in Honolulu, I decided on the Lotus for our first vacation trip since the beginning of the pandemic. The Lotus experience surpassed all my expectations. What a fabulous location, steps away from two beaches, a world-class French restaurant, Ily coffee and Italian espresso maker in the room, fancy and convenient beach chairs and luxurious towels for the beach days. We walked everyday to the Barefoot Beach cafe nearby, the most scrumptious local restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with live music, ever! Walking 15 minutes more through the gorgeous park with lush trees and families having picnics, you get to the craziness, tourist-drenched Waikiki. What also makes the Lotus unique is its staff: Jessica (the fantastic Jessica, what glowing energy!), Christie (high beautiful vibe), Lita, Mari, Marilou, Zee, Rogie, Lester, George, Mila! Thank you for having us! I will come back to stay with you, no other hotel in Honolulu.…
The Lotus hotel was a great choice for couples. It’s aesthetically pleasing, it had great amenities, in a quiet area right next to a popular beach park. Very walkable area! Christieann at the front desk was so kind and personable, we looked forward to seeing her at the front desk each morning. It was overall a very nice stay.
When we stumbled upon this hotel on Booking.com we were intrigued by the cheaper price for its location near Waikiki. After doing some research, we were convinced that the hotel’s benefits (free parking, location, ability to disconnect from Waikiki yet still be close, views of Diamond Head) outweighed it’s downsides (lack of pool). As we were going to be busy doing activities outside of our hotel, this worked perfectly. We could not have made a better choice. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted and checked in by Christieann. She was truly a gem. She not only went out of her way to share details and happenings at the hotel, but also immediately made us feel welcome. She is the perfect lady to greet any establishment and could even make me feel welcomed into a grocery store. This alone would have made our stay perfect. Next, when we got to our room we had stunning views of both the ocean and Diamond Head. Our view of Diamond Head was 100% unobstructed and was stunning. The bathroom was larger than expected and clean. The room had nice details (free reusable water bottle to fill up in the lobby’s water dispenser system) and was welcoming. Overall, given the opportunity, we would stay at this hotel again. What it may be lacking in a pool is more than made up for in its boutique charm, hospitality, cleanliness, and stunning views.…
Greatest Experience ever.first time and we had a blast in Hawaii. If you want a real get away this is the place, away from all the traffic and all.Good management and it was very clean.couldn’t have found a better spot in
I would give more than 5 stars if i can. I stayed for 21 days during my PCS and the front desk and house keeping staff from the 9th floor were exceptional! I will miss the smile and friendliness of all the staff of Lotus Hotel especially Zee, Christieanne and Angelica. The moment you step in and out of the hotel, their level of energy to greet and welcome you no matter what time of day was just simply unbeatable. Rooms were awesome with a great view of Diamond head and the ocean (not to mention, my fur baby enjoyed her daily walks to the park). If you’re looking for a clean, pet friendly and amazing staff, look no further. There’s no denying that i will return when i need a staycation or when I PCS again. I highly recommend this place if you want the real ALOHA spirit. Thank you Lotus for an amazing experience for me and my family. See you soon.…
Experienced a staycation and we found the staff, especially Melissa, Zee and Christieann to be exceptionally friendly, helpful, efficient and customer service oriented! Rooms were great with fabulous views and Melissa, Zee and Christieanne made us, and other guests, feel extremely welcomed! Great place to stay, incredible views, inches away from the beach and the self-parking is a special perk! Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful week long stay at the Lotus Honolulu. This is a small-ish boutique hotel located just a short walk from the throes of Waikiki. I have stayed in various hotels in Waikiki and found the Lotus to be perfect - close enough to the chaos in Waikiki but far enough away to be a peaceful retreat from the crowds. The hotel is just steps away from what I consider to be the best beach in Waikiki, and it is across from a beautiful park. The hotel provides Illy coffee in the rooms, and they are very generous about supplying additional pods as well. The staff is one of the best things about the Lotus - so welcoming and kind. Chrisiteann remembered out names from the first day and was always so pleasant and cheerful. The one downside was there was no restaurant on site for breakfast, although there are options not too far away. The hotel next door - the Kamaina - has a lovely restaurant directly on the beach - but it is expensive, even by Hawaii standards. We were not on vacation but were dealing with a death in the family, and this hotel was a wonderful place to come back to at the end of a stressful day. Walking in and seeing Christieann smiling made this trip much easier on us during a difficult time. We will definitely be back! Thank you to all the staff.…
As lovely and well appointed as the rooms, as good as the location, and as convenient as the parking was, what stood out as so exceptional was the staff and service. We requested several items over our stay (a cot, extra pillow, their electronic tea kettle) and they were delivered at our door with shocking speed and alacrity! From the many servers whose names I didn't catch in their near instantaneous appearances at our room to Christieann at the front desk (whose charm, attention to our needs, and follow through were as sincere and heart warming as her broad smile), the staff were outstanding. Mahalo! The location was ideal for access to the lovely Kaimana Beach (near where the Hawaiian Monk seals came up on the beach to nurse and rest with their young) and across the street from a nice public park. There is no swimming pool, but the complimentary beach chairs and towels were all we needed.…
I have been staying at this property since it opened as a W many years ago.For me it is perfect.Close to everything but not in the madness that is Waikiki. Small. Intimate with great comfortable rooms and a warm welcoming staff. No pool if that matters to you but right next to the beach. My go to in Honolulu.
