We chose the Pacific Beach Hotel for our family spring break trip. Overall, I have to say it was a very good stay. We were aware that the hotel was under renovation but we had no issues that affected us. Others have complained of noise and slow elevators, but we had no problems with either. We were on the 21st...

We stayed at this Hotel in January 2017 and there were numerous problems. It took 3 attempts to check in which is unacceptable for anyone. I paid for a telephone which did not work for the entire stay which was 11 nights.

Stayed in remodeled room. Was not impressed by decor, pretty but very bland. Had to stand between toilet and wash basin to close bathroom door. Lighting in bathroom insufficient to allow for application of makeup. No clock in room. Had to find glasses and phone to get time in middle of night. Trash receptacle in bathroom of insufficient size for...

The hotel overall was very accommodating. We had multiple rooms, and one of them kept changing due to the occupants travel plans which meant multiple reservations strung together, but they were very helpful to try and keep the room together along with a lot of other requests we had. The location can't be beat as it's right on the beach...

The hotel was under construction and we could hear the construction noises (drilling?) at night and in the morning. It was noticeable. The location and the view was awesome! We booked the Oceanview room! The view looked exactly like the photos shown on the hotel website! The room was big, clean snd comfortable. I loved that it was next to...

Well where do you start. Even though the hotel is under going major reconstruction our stay there was absolutely fantastic, the work that was going on did not impede our stay at all. The friendliness of the staff was second to none, the recently refurbished room we got was great, as this was a special occasion for us the hotel...

I was really worried about the construction here. We were above the 20th floor and did not hear construction noise. The remodeled rooms are great. The rooms have keurig machines which was also a nice touch. The hotel has a resort fee which is annoying since there is currently no pool to use and no restaurants on site. They do...

We stayed at the Pacific Beach in February this year, whilst the renovations were/are still taking place. We had no issues whatsoever; yes some of the lifts were out of action a couple of the days but we knew of the renos when we booked so took the risk. The new rooms are stunning, very large compared to other hotels...

We recently spent 2 days at Pacific Beach. Location was great, walking distance to the beach and and the main shopping/restaurant strip. The refurbished rooms are outstanding. They are spacious, so beautifully decorated. We were in the tower on the 34th floor. I booked a room with ocean views which we had, and as a bonus looked out at diamond...

Despite the obvious construction, slow/packed elevators during peak hours - the pacific beach hotel is a gem. Clean, brand new rooms, AMAZING view which was described as only partial but on the balcony we had full views of the ocean + diamond head. It was such a pleasure to stay here for four nights. Reception were super helpful. Everything was...
