Stayed here for 7 nights and what a top location it was . Had a ocean view room, was gorgeous and although this hotel is one street from beachfront it was more than enough, felt close enough anyhow .. it’s location is what makes it , right in the middle of everything . Its not 5 star but fantastic in my opinion for the price !
Great place to stay, been here few times now everything has been clean& Sharen at front desk was very help full, would recommend this place to family & friends, Close to beach & stores., a little warmer here then in Alaska 😀
This hotel is in a great location but very dated./tired. We were very disappointed in the room we were given. It was booked by our travel agent by choice of a “city view room”. We were given a room on the 3rd floor and lets just say the room well had a view of the parkade. Upon discussing further I brought this to the attention of the hotel management they suggested I indeed had the room choice I had booked also called a standard room. It was to say the least very disappointing. We have travelled to a lot of destinations over the last 16 years and this by far would be the worst room we have been given. We may as well left the curtains closed. Upon check in I asked to be moved it was all about costing us an upgrade and they were busy. My travel agent called them and they had to look into it. By week two on our 3rd last night they offered to give us a free upgrade. We had a 14 day package. Just so disappointed in this hotel. The one manager agreed they should not be booking this room. We did finally settle on the resort fees being comped for our stay. We had a great maid and the room was always cleaned early. The only way I would stay at his hotel again would be a Pool View Room simply because they have balconies. The other rooms Do NOT. As they are small the balcony would make you feel you would have more space and you could enjoy fresh air as well as the sun a bit longer if all the loungers are full. Menu at the one restaurant..hmm kind of boring. Coffee could also be a quick grab and go idea for the lobby. This is not a thing there. The best part of this stay was the bottled water. Great for the rooms and plenty!…
We checked in to the Sheraton Princess (Oahu) hotel on March 15th. We were placed on the 6th floor in a corner. After entering the room we began to notice things that were not right; 1) The view from the balcony was obstructed and we could barely see the ocean at all which was contrary to the pictures shown online Marriott. We were also struck with a lot of noise from the pool area. Being on the 6th floor placed us close to the pool. 2) The room and (SMALL) bathroom are dated and although the room was clean, the furniture was chipped and cushions worn and the room did not look anything like the pictures on line. 3) The carpet was wet when we entered and we noticed that the air conditioning had been dripping water on the floor from the ceiling. 4) Because the room was placed right beside the elevator it's all we heard all night long the rumbling of the elevators going up and down which did not afford us a good night sleep. 5) Before we went to bed my Wife decided to take a bath and noticed that the water was not hot and was only luke warm. She was disappointed and could not take her bath after travelling for 10 hours !! We reported this to the front desk but they seemed to ignore our complaint and offered us no solution implying that this is all you get for what you paid for. I did not want to call the front desk back for fear of being blown off once again, so I decided to write to you directly. I am a long standing Bonvoy member, as is my wife, and usually we have very little problems with Marriott, but this time we had no choice but to speak up. Let us know how you can remedy the situation to regain our faith in this Sheraton brand and Marriott. Also let us know before we do a write up to Trip Advisor and to our other accounts that we are signed up for. Marriott gave me only 3,000 lousy points for this disaster of a holiday. …
This is an older hotel that has had very little in the way of updating except around the lobby area. We live on island and made a reservation bc it was a good way to use up free nights when we otherwise cannot travel thanks to COVID. Well, I wouldn’t do it again. We ended up using 2 free nights and cancelling the rest of our stay bc we just couldn’t make 2 double beds in an already small and dingy room work. We actually slept at home the second night. There were so many odd things that stand out as unappealing that I’m curious how this place is so packed when we aren’t in a pandemic. The room felt dirty and the walls actually were dirty in our room. The bathroom felt depressing and small. Our family of 4 (2 preteens included) felt like giants in the tiny beds in the tiny room.…
Excellent location in the heart of Waikiki handy to beach and shops lovely pool and poolside are for cocktails and snacksThe bathrooms could do with a makeover however overall clean and serviced daily..room service was not available possibly due to current staff shortages
Location, location, location! As a Marriott Bonvoy Gold member, found the Sheraton Princess hotel provided great value for a Hawaiian vacation in the heart of Waikiki! Convenient location across the street from another beachfront Marriott property (Westin Moana Surfrider)... enjoyed walking across the street for apps and drinks nightly at the Westin to watch the sunset - and was able to charge food/drink to my Sheraton room. Each day, we left early to enjoy Oahu, so only at the hotel to sleep. However, Sheraton staff were excellent - the front desk staff went out of their way to accomodate any requests, the concierge gave great advice on how to get tickets for the state parks (Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head) and the cleaning staff were EXCELLENT! We appreciated the convenient parking garage for our rental - easy to get in and out. The only con - the hotel rooms could use a renovation. However, if you are planning to be outdoors during the day enjoying all that Oahu offers, this is a great central Waikiki location to enjoy the evening sunsets (with a quick walk across the street), and local area restaurants. Overall, great value so you can spend your money on excursions and entertainment!…
We stayed at Sheraton with our 2 young kids. I can’t rave enough about the staff especially Lorna and Richard (I can’t quiet remember his name). They made sure that our stay was enjoyable, comfortable, and relaxing. During our stay, Lorna had the brightest smile and made sure that our room was clean and had everything we needed. Thank you for making our stay a memorable experience!
I've stayed there several times in the past 30 years. The location is as good as it gets. The staff is more than friendly and most helpful. Plenty of pool lounges for everyone. The rooms are a little dated but very clean and spacious. Plenty of amenities free of charge in the rooms. Coffee maker, in room safe, refrigerator, to name a few. The prices are really good for that location. We will stay there again on a future date.
Lorna is sooo awesome. Very sweet. Our room is so clean when we came back from the beach. Love the service. Will come and stay here again and ask for Lorna to clean our room. Thanks Lorna for the awesome job. Keep it up. U made our stay very welcoming.
