Recently had a 4 night stay at the Equus for a convention in Honolulu. From check-in to check-out the staff was wonderful - welcoming, friendly, helpful, down to the parking attendants and cleaning staff. Though the rooms are tiny by many standards (apparently the meaning of "Boutique"), they have everything you could want - large, comfortable bed, wide-screen TV, good...

From the open-aired, canopied entrance with adjacent tropical foliage and brass-trimmed steps, to its early European/Polynesian decor, makes one feel as though they have stepped back to its earlier years of being a polo hotel. It has a feel of simple elegance without feeling ostentatious. Open breeze...
