Please note that his hotel is not taking reservations for arrival until May 1, 2017 (although they expect to move that date earlier). The reviews here are not for the Okina but for the hotel formerly in this building before its rehab (Waikiki Wave). Review comments related to location are still relevant but nothing else is particularly relevant. I have...

Great location, just in the middle of everything interesting like restaurant and shops. Parking is not free like every hôtels in Waikiki. People at front desk are very nice and helpfull. Room was spacious and clean.

The Waikiki Wave was nice. It was conveniently located near shopping, night-life, attractions, and most importantly, the beach. My partner and I went for our anniversary. The room was huge and clean when we got there. Had to keep asking for housekeeping after that though. But the refrigerator was nasty/dirty. Our view was blocked by a wall. There was construction...

This is our second time to stay in this hotel.. the first stay was definitely better.. the staff this time around weren't as helpful.. they were even kind of snobbish.. parking was a bit expensive, $25 per night, which is surprisingly less than other hotels' parking rates.. parked our car for only 2 nights but was charged for 3 days.....

The rooms were ok for the money we paid but I wouldnt stay there again. I would much prefer to pay more and stay somewhere nicer, but this isnt bad for someone who is on a budget and doesnt mind. This is only my opinion only and other people have stayed here and found it good.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were very friendly and helped us check how far away the shuttle bus was from the hotel. One street back from the main stretch down a little alleyway short cut which has markets through it! Nice place for breakfast just across the road which was pretty cheap. Would defiantly stay at this hotel again!

This was the first hotel stay for our 14 day trip to Hawii in Dec 2015. On the 2nd day our rental car got towed while we were having breakfast cross the street. The location of the hotel is great. Many resturants, grocery store, and shops surrounds the hotel. All walking distant. The parking is horrible. They have a basement...

Unfortunately the Waikiki Wave Hotel lost 3 of our suitcases while we waited for our room to be ready to check in. The security cameras in the lobby didn't work and therefore made locating our bags difficult. For the full stay at this hotel we only had the clothes on our back and therefore we needed to buy more clothing...

For a 3 stars hotel this is a good choice. Location is excellent - not a beachfront but parallel to the main boardwalk. Rooms are decent - the bed could have been comfier but for a 3 stars I think its a good choice. We stayed there 7 nights for business and got a high floor which was quiet. Staff...

I was moved to this hotel because there was a plumbing issue at the hotel where I was scheduled to stay. The other hotel prepaid for the room. I called ahead to verify that I would be arriving after 8:30 pm. Not only was the front desk not expecting me they wished to charge me for a "resort" fee for...
