Went to a conference at the convention center and this was the perfect location. Not a great location for people who want to lounge on the beach, but I actually loved it. It's a 5 minute walk to Ala Moana Beach which seemed filled with locals lounging, fishing, and barbecuing. Also had a small man made beach perfect for kids....

Mahalo for the kind words and we look forward to hosting you soon. We are grateful for the support of our Kama'aina guests. Many locals find the Ala Moana Hotel to be the perfect base to enjoy a staycation (and maybe get a bit of shopping in too!) and yet near enough to enjoy the excitement of Waikiki. Warmest Aloha...

Ala Moana Hotel has been a local favorite for decades. It's convenient location just on the outskirts of Waikiki and directly (connected) adjacent to Ala Moana Shopping Center really can't be beat. The rooms are small, but the location is why you stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby can be confusing, but once you get lost a...

This trip was a combination of business and friends. The proximity of the hotel to the convention center was superb. Also the big mall with every shop imaginable next door made for easy shopping and quick bites to eat. The negatives: staff friendly but not terribly efficient. Housekeeping: less than stellar. Amenities: nothing special. Nice to have Starbucks in lobby....

Mahalo for allowing us to host you and for the valuable feedback. We would have preferred accolades but that will just make us work harder to earn them when you return and we certainly hope that is soon! Warmest Aloha and Ā hui hou kākou (Until we meet again)

Stayed here with my wife for several nights on the way home to Australia. Couldn't compliment the staff enough, they were fantastic. Made a couple of tour bookings while we were there through the desk and the local knowledge and advice was incredible. All the lobby staff were a great help. If you like shopping it's joined to the Ala...

Stayed at this property to access Ala Moana Center easily. Good: room spacious and clean. Ocean view absolutely worth the price! Staff very friendly and helpful. Not so good: surprised at how loud the noise from the Mai Tai bar at the shopping center was at night, wasn't expecting this. Having to use room key during the day was a...

Although the conference hosts forgot to make reservations the hotel was able to get us a room at our very late arrival. Very clean room and friendly staff. Located in downtown Honolulu it was within walking distance of some good restaurants and the restaurant on the 36th floor was great.

We stayed in the Waikiki tower. Check-in was easy, special thanks to Heide for seeing that we got a room with the amenities we requested (and for being all-around awesome and super nice). One night stay for business. Lots of parking out front of hotel. Super large foyer. Reception was ok, plan I think is to get you through quickly. I was on 36th floor, ocean view - gorgeous! Room was clean & had everything you would need. Would recommend.
