I stayed for four days in October. I was warned about the construction beforehand. This did not bother me as it was from 9-5. This being Hawaii I wanted to be out of the room. It would only be a problem if you take naps in the daytime. The hotel was able to "upgrade" me to a renovated Ocean Front...

We arrived at checkin and were offered ocean view rooms where you cant access the balcony because they are doing working on the external facade of the building. In lieu of this inconvenience they offered to waive the $25 per night per room credit card hold for incidentals. We agreed. Two days later into our 8 night stay they have...

Fabulous way to end our month long journey around the USA. Staff exceptional... Just this morning I went for a walk and upon my return the gent at the bell desk offered me a cold bottle of water - yes thanks. Location couldn't be better and Waikiki is fantastic for everything from beach going , dining, shopping and relaxing. Spacious...

This was our second Hyatt hotel stay on our recent trip to Hawaii. We and the other 2 couples had booked rooms with partial ocean view but we were surprised when we were all provided with ocean front rooms with views of the Duke from the Diamond Head tower. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable, but felt tired and dated,...

Aloha Greg G, Thank you for reviewing your stay. We are glad you were given rooms with incredible views to enjoy for your visit but we do regret that you were unable to stay in one of the newly remodeled guestrooms. A few changes for the lobby are being discussed which will give our guests a more favorable reception area....

I stayed at this hotel for a few days and had connecting rooms overlooking the ocean. The views were awesome. It was nice to sit outside in the early morning and evenings and watch the surfers and all the activity on Waikiki Beach below. The hotel is huge and a bit dated. However, its functional and comfortable. Its right in...

We had a wonderful stay at the property oct 4-6th. Given Penthouse suite (for diamond suite upgrade) which is an enormous suite on the 40th floor overlooking Waikiki beach. Regency Club with complimentary breakfast, which was excellent--and so-so evening hor d'orves. Very good service and treated by the hotel very well. Would return in a heartbeat.

This review is for my stay from August 25-Sept, 4, 2014. I know I'm a bit late reviewing this but here it is! The hotel is super huge, two towers and lots of construction and renovations going on right now. We read about all this. We entered through the Diamond Head tower, up the escalator and checked in after 12noon...

The hotel staff were very welcoming and bent over backwards to find us suitable accommodation as our preferred room was not available due to the current renovation work going on. Good sized room, odd architecture at least when you get off the elevator, but you figure it out. I didn't see it as dated, it's older obviously, but so are most of the places in Waikiki. They had a building boom after statehood and well, they've been making money ever since here. All the large hotels are older, and most...

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Cary, at the regency club was great and made us feel very welcomed. Also, the renovated rooms are beautiful and very clean. I also thought the flowers and chocolates they left in our room was very sweet. Best hotel in all of my stays here.
