Fantastic location right in the middle of the Waikiki strip. The room was larger than expected and very clean. Staff was extremely helpful and the beach chairs and towels were convenient. We enjoyed every part of our stay.

The staff are always friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. You can easily spread out in the room and not feel claustrophobic like some others. I also like the fact that it is quiet within the room, even if you can hear your neighbors TV blaring from outside the hallway. The location of Hyatt Regency is very centralized and right across from the beach, so you can get to any part of Waikiki easily. Oh and the free recyclable bag and water bottles are a bonus!

I stayed with the "Work from Hyatt" package and this was the deal of a life time. I got: - An extra connected room!!! - Upgraded to an ocean view (from an angle, not ocean front) - $50/day dining credit (this was incredibly difficult for me to use because I don't want to eat/drink at the hotel all day) - Free parking - Waived resort fees - 1 free cabana per week This deal made the value much better than most of my friends' stays at airbnbs or other hotels at the same time, but you had to stay at least a week to get it. It's in the center of Waikiki, so it was really convenient to get to places, though the one-way streets were a little confusing to me at first. The pool is nothing to be amazed about except that it's right in front of the beach. The gym had enough equipment to actually work out! Probably the best part of this hotel is that the rooms aren't super tiny - all the other hotels I looked at and the hotels my friends' were staying at had tiny rooms. The only downside is that this hotel is a little dated, but I think they have another decade or so to go before they need to renovate.…
