Room décor is Hawaiian Plantation. The place was recently remodeled and is still fresh and new. Patio sliding doors still roll smoothly - the salt air has not gotten to them yet. Nice pool, friendly staff, very good coffee. Open air casual restaurant. Creative chef - meaning there are things you cannot pronounce and never heard of. They have combined...

After a month of research and reading reviews, I opted to stay at the Surfjack over the Waikiki strip hotels, and I'm so glad I did. The staff, especially Krystle and Ben, were so friendly & made our stay memorable. My husband and I were there for a week so the staff felt like family. The hotel's just 2-3 blocks...

Loved our stay at the Surfjack! Their complimentary beach towels, tote bags and bicycle rentals were an excellent touch! The hotel is newly renovated so everything is very modern and clean. We were there with a group of 14 girls for a bachelorette party, so things could sometimes get noisy and chaotic, but the staff were still extremely friendly, helpful...

Staff was exceptional. The staff goes out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant. We arrived very early and they provided us with a temorary room to get some sleep and clean up. They provided us with a clean room shortly after. All staff makes a point to say hello and make sure everything is alright. Very...

Surfjack is a beautifully decorated hotel, drawing on a cool 50s and 60s vibe. Its apparent commitment to local artists and craftsmen admirable. It attracts, it seems, an arty crowd as a result. No drunken yobs or hoity toity sorts here! We enjoyed a very nice 3 night stay. The 2 bed suite had ample room for our family of...

Loved every minute of our stay at SurfJack, from the Retro look and vibe, to the 60's movies screening onto the pool area wall. Within walking distance to everything that Waikiki has to offer, highly recommended.

Great little boutique hotel in Waikiki! An instagram dream...This place is just so FUN! There's a great in-house restaurant that locals actually venture to Waikiki for...So did Obama when he was in town...There's that awesome graphic pool...Fun coffee shop and hotel store...lovely staff. It's not a mega-resort on Waikiki beach but if you're looking for a stylish stay one block...

Was pleasantly surprised how great the Surfjack was on our recent visit. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and the whole ground level pool/restaurant/bar area is cozy and social. As very seasoned independent world travelers; my wife and I loved the retro design, and compact feel as it reminded us of some of the great small hotels and guesthouses...
