We loved everything about our stay! Tom is a great communicator and provided clear and easy to follow self check in directions. The studio was spotless and had a very comfortable bed. It is conveniently located in easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, Waikiki Beach. Free covered parking is a huge plus. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations that Tom shared (Steak Shack, Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck, Beachfront Cafe and the bakery in the International Market. Highly recommended!

Great location. Tom is an awesome host. Very accommodating. Grab the beach chairs and take a easy walk to the beach. We will be back a soon as possible. Great views from balconies. Eat right around Corner at coconuts Great dive bar in walking distance

Great condo and a perfect location in Waikiki! Easy to book, free parking and a friendly host, what more could you ask for? The condo is centrally located which allowed us to walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. We will definitely book with Tom again.

Great room with full size cooker, fridge and cooking utensils. had a DVD player in the room. Laundry on every floor. It had a balcony which was great. Conveniently located with shops and restaurants close by.

Great place in the middle of everything you need. The host was super nice and communicative. He even contacted me after I left to let me know that he had found my earrings which I had left in his condo. The bed was comfortable, but the best thing about this place was the parking. If you're staying in Honolulu this is the place to stay. I definitely would stay there again.

We booked 10 nights in the Ali'i Studio (Room 1907) and are really pleased with the experience! Our main criteria were: ocean view, lanai, kitchenette, free parking, and laundry available. This property met all the criteria, and we felt like the price was excellent. It also had an A/C unit, which really helped. While it's not oceanfront, you can see Waikiki Beach AND the mountains from the lanai. Also, there are balconies on two sides of the building that provide additional views. The laundry room was very convenient with minimal cost. It's a 5-minute walk to Duke's and Waikiki Beach, as well as numerous restaurant options for delivery, takeout, and dine-in. The building is secure, and we always felt safe there. It's perfect for solo travelers, couples, or small families. Tom was responsive and helpful before and during our stay. We definitely recommend this place and will stay here again if we're lucky enough to come back to Oahu! Tip for travelers who have a rental car: Google Maps took us to the entrance of the parking garage on , which is NOT what you need at first. You must briefly park at the entrance of the building on Seaside Ave, go in to the lobby, and get your room key from the small post office area. It's on the right side down the hall as you walk in the front door. We arrived after hours, so a security guard let us in to the lobby and showed us where the post office boxes were.…

We were very fortunate to find this gem as we awaited our departure to new beginnings on the mainland after calling HAWAII home for the past four years. We were exhausted both physically & mentally after packing up our condo and sending ALL of our belongings with the moving company. Our studio apartment at the Marine Surf was beautifully appointed and perfectly situated for saying our final goodbyes to our island PARADISE. Tom and his crew did everything in their power to ensure our stay was worry free which was greatly appreciated. It was a genuine relief to have a furnished space with a well stocked kitchenette at the ready. Our departure from Hawaii happened during the beginning of the COVID pandemic with almost complete lockdown in Honolulu. This location was a perfect spot to bid ALL of our favorite Waikiki "must See's" a fond farewell. As we are deep in WINTER here in the Midwest with a high temp currently below ZERO ... we can't wait to book a return trip to our favorite tropical island. Perfect studio apartment. Clean, tidy, comfortable, and a super great location. Everything works well. The hide-a-bed was handy as a second bed - which is a real bonus in a studio apartment. I had accidentally locked myself out (just before heading out to the airport - yikes!) and within 20 minutes the owner's manager was at the building to let me back into the apartment. She went above and beyond to help out. I couldn't be more grateful. Tom is professional and responsive to all questions. I would not hesitate to book this unit again. Tip: if you want to hang by the beach with chaise lounges and an umbrella - Waikiki Shore Beach Services is a great company to rent the lounges and install the umbrella. Book it before 9 AM (for the entire day) and get the early bird special. This makes you feel like you are staying at a beachfront resort, but paying way less by staying a short walk away at Waikiki Place. There are lots of very good restaurant options all within walking distance. Our favorite Thai restaurant is Siam Square. And don't forget to hike up Diamond Head - its worth the effort!
