We stayed at the Hale Koa (House of the Warrior), from 10/26 - 11/01. Check-in was a breeze, we were a little early, room wasn't ready, so after checking in we went to lunch and returned, picked up keys and had bell hop take bags to room. We were on the 8th floor, partial ocean view in the Maile tower.... More

Great resort! Actually nicer than I would have imagined! The beds are a very firm mattress, so if you like a softer mattress you'll be uncomfortable. Bring your own blow dryer bc the ones in the room are awful!

What a great hotel! This is our 4th time to stay at the Hale Koa and we love it more every time. The staff and amenities are top notch! Restaurants serve wonderful food and a terrific price (compared to the rest of Waikiki). And there is so much to see and do just within walking distance. I would highly recommend... More

Visited as a girlfriend getaway and it was an outstanding visit. Staff is very friendly and helpful, grounds have so many offerings with great value. Loved my early morning mini-mart coffee (less expensive and no lines). Coconut shrimp at Biba's was best I've ever had, quiet & clean hotel. Lighted tree in the courtyard made it a memorable experience. Great... More

Stayed in Deluxe Ocean Front room 1273. It is on the corner towards the Hilton. Last two visits were on the Diamond Head side. Both are fine and being the highest gives you the best views. Everyone was friendly as always, from check in to check out. Some good buys on aloha wear in the PX. If you want just... More

My family of seven, grandparents, parents and children, stayed here for three nights in October. The rooms were very well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the view was excellent. The check-in process could definitely be more streamlined. It is a military hotel, so there has to be some military affiliation to be allowed to stay here. The location is... More

Hale Koa is available to military members and their families and guests. Being retired military, I certainly appreciate that fact and took advantage of the earned benefit on our recent visit to Oahu. Not the most luxurious or opulent hotel/resort on Waikiki but it is clean, comfortable and very affordable with its own sense of charm. To define Hale Koa's... More

We spent four nights at this hotel and found each thing about it to be very nice! The rooms are spacious, clean, have small fridge. & safe, and have a nice balcony. The breakfast buffet is really good! As with all things in Honolulu- not cheap! The pools are well maintained and the grounds are beautiful. The hotel exhibits some... More

Stayed here on our Hawaiian vacation. The hotel and grounds are very large with restaurants spread throughout the property. Ate at the hotel but mostly preferred the breakfast at koko at kalia. There is a mini supermarket on the compound as well which was very convenient to stock up on whatever was needed. This hotel isn't directly situated on Beach... More
