First time at the Hale Koa. Property showing age a bit - peeling finish on bathroom doors, peeling wall paper and delaminating furniture. But the big things were perfect. Service was superb, Common Areas were beautiful and well maintained, everything worked and a/c was cold. We had a very nice five day visit and look forward to returning some day.

We have been coming to the Hale Koa for nearly 30 years and this visit was as great as ever. While there my husband ended up at Tripler Army Hospital. The assistant manager, Frank, could not have been more helpful. Geri @ Barefoot Bar is fun and awesome every night, Melanie & Grace @ Java are a delight and always...

My husband and I just got back from Hale Koa and have ZERO complaints about our week long stay. The food from Biba's is great, and the Luau they have on Mondays and Thursdays is a MUST SEE!!! The Sunday Brunch is a little pricey, BUT the food is incredible, as well as the live entertainment. Be sure to get...

I still love checking into the Hale Koa after all these years of coming here. Still an amazing value for the price. The rooms are comfortable. clean, and the amenities of the hotel are more than ample for a short stay in Waikiki. As strange as it may sound, I almost wished they'd charge a little more. A few things...

Stopped in Honolulu before going to Maui - had to visit Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona. After being on the wait list finally got the call in December and locked in our reservation at the Hale Koa . It is a first class resort which we plan to come back to again- the staff, rooms, grounds and restaurants were all...

Comfortable large lobby with good wifi. God fitness center and excellent reception area with friendly staff. All staff were courteous and helpful. Wifi was weak in the rooms other than that great hotel. Good location as quieter than Waikiki but close enough to walk to the craziness. Nice beach and pools.

This facility on the western edge of Waikiki is a great place to stay, play and relax in Honolulu. We just finished our 3rd visit to the hotel and it is still one of our favorite places. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food from several vendors is great and the view from the beach is spectacular.

Don't be fooled by Military association or other notions. Top notch facility on widest part of Waikiki and next to beautiful green parks. If you are qualified to stay it is worth to do so rather than touristy spots nextdoor.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Staff was great, we enjoyed the different food options and loved the pool area. Rooms were nice and worked out well, wonderful views from the balconies. Great fun to watch fireworks on Fridays and enjoyed the craft sales in the open air lobby.
