This hotel's location added more value to the trip than expected. I felt like it was a perfect mix proximity to local hot spots and the tourist traps I know and love (Thames St, Cliff Walk, etc.). The rooftop bar, live music at the downstairs bar, pool and spa make it well worth the price. Maid service was also very...

I want to preface this review by saying that I have stayed at this hotel and have had great things to say previous to this stay. My previous reservations had been in the main hotel in the estate rooms one time booking a suite. This visit I booked a room in the annex building in a "Newport guest room". Such...

Nice and very helpful staff. Clean, big room. Nice amenities. Great location to mansions and easy walk to town for dinner. Breakfast in the sunroom was very pleasant. Valet parking for a fee, but worth it.

Although the interior was somewhat maze-like, due to additions to the original building, and we found ourselves getting lost several times, the hotel was a delightful throwback to an earlier era. Our room was extremely comfortable and furnished in a style reminiscent of the 1920's. The bedding was luxurious and the carpet felt like cashmere. We had an excellent breakfast...

A solid weekend getaway spot. Met up with good friends there to enjoy the offerings of Newport. Accommodations were perfect - clean and cosy. The restaurant/bar became busy in the early afternoon as a large party gathered for an evening wedding, however, it made the trip more festive for us as we mingled with the gathering crowd. Friendly atmosphere and...

This hotel is very classy, or at least the lobby, the 1st floor with the pool and the spa, but the room was disappointing. The mattress was horrible and the windows are pretty old so it was very noisy in the evening, because this is on one of Newport's main street.
