We had a wonderful stay atThe Pilgrim House Inn. Our room was immaculate, the view from the upper deck is beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast included fresh fruit, eggs, delicious pastries, bagels, coffee and juice. We sat on the upper deck, enjoyed breakfast, and planned our day. A walk to the warf is 5 minutes away, as well as great restaurants!... More

I highly recommend this one. Friendly staff, nice roof terrace, good breakfast, clean bathroom, free Wi-Fi and complimentary snacks and such. Free parking too, although it was a 5 minute walk from the inn. The room was very small, but we didn't mind that much. Good value for money. In addition, a fun fact that someone there has a large... The owners have thought of everything here - you really do feel like you're visiting family. There are glasses for wine, snacks for the afternoon, multiple options for breakfast, including hard boiled eggs. Because of allergies, we needed specific attention to linens and the owners complied without skipping a beat. Great location near everything at the water. Parking available too.... More

The Pilgrim House Inn wins kudos for location and convenience, and for the accommodating nature of the owners and the staff. It's an older place (the building itself is 160 years old) with outdated bathrooms and furniture - at first I was disappointed as the average nightly rate was $250. but this is quite reasonable for Newport in the summer.... I have stayed here twice several years apart. We were there for 3 nights, July 18th to the 21st 2016 and it was as wonderful as I remembered it. Rooms are cozy and clean. They are made up everyday with fresh towels, etc. Owners are friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the roof deck is so lovely overlooking the Bay and... More

If you want to stay at an overpriced Motel 6 version of a bed and breakfast stay here. This whole place is outdated, needs to be remodeled and redecorated. Bathroom was tiny, especially the shower. My husband couldn't even stand up straight in the shower it was so small. Our bathroom door wouldn't close all the way. The closet space... More

Nice and cozy Victorian inn, downtown Newport RI. Owner lady a bit cranky and more into chatting on her phone, but her hubby was very charming and helpful. Cute rooms (feels like in England, yet better/higher standard) and quiet area. Easy to park at the reserved parking lot at the Methodist Church two blocks up Spring st. Good wifi. Breakfast... More

My husband and I found the Pilgrim House quite by accident, but we are so glad we did! Another B&B that was fully booked suggested we try there, and boy did we luck out! The hosts are super helpful and cordial without being intrusive. A quick greeting, tour of the house / shared livingroom and treats of cordials and snacks... More

Admittedly we are not B&B people but we needed a reasonably priced place to stay on July 4th weekend (no easy feat in Newport). The Pilgrim House ended up being a great treasure. When you arrive you are given a sweet little tour of the home. There's a large drawing room you can relax in with sherry and snacks (we... More

My husband and I stayed overnight for our 20th anniversary and couldn't have made a better choice. The room was clean, the staff was great, and the breakfast on the rooftop deck was perfect. The location was perfect for a short walk to all the restaurants and the boat tour that we went on. We would definitely stay again!
