This was a fantastic find on Hotel Tonight and turned out to be one of my favorite stays ever. The original house, addition and the separate Benjamin Mason House are all beautifully maintained by a superb staff. We were welcomed by Janet and Suzanne upon our check-in and given a tour and plenty of advice and suggestions. The small but... More

My wife and I were going to Newport for a family wedding at the beginning of August and decided to make a long weekend out of it. After doing a lot of research online prior to selecting where we would stay in Newport, we decided on the Francis Malbone House Inn. Our research paid off, this Inn did not disappoint!... More

We stayed in the Harborside (blue) room, bright and spacious, on the 2nd floor/SE corner. We slept comfortably w/ down pillows and pillow-top king size bed. No problems w/ water pressure/temp. Breakfasts in the garden courtyard was so beautiful and tranquil with a gorgeous pink crepe myrtle and tiny birds playing in the fountain. The menu will delight any foodie.... More

Will and his staff know their job and do it extremely well. There are more expensive choices and better views, but nothing is better than the ambiance and gracious hospitality of this wonderful home away from home.Breakfast and afternoon snacks are excellent.

We had a very peaceful visit. The food was outstanding and plentiful. The staff were all very helpful. This is our second visit and we're already looking forward to the next. We enjoyed drinking coffee and sitting in the garden.

We received a gift certificate as a wedding gift for the Francis Malbone House Inn. We used part of it over Valentines Day weekend. It is not your typical time to visit Newport, but it was just beautiful. Francis Malbone House is hospitable and charming. A exquisite and charming winter getaway. We used the remainder of the gift certificate in... More

The Francis Malbone House has been an important part of our decision to visit Newport every summer since 2002. Its consistency is one of the things that make it the best B&B in Newport. Will Dewey and his team ALWAYS do their utmost to ensure that you’ll be delighted with your stay, visit after visit. It’s ALWAYS gracious innkeeping at... More

Two friends and I just returned from a three day trip to Newport that included two nights at the beautiful Francis Malbone House. Everything about the Inn was wonderful. The location couldn't be better as it is centrally located and within easy walking distance to the harbor and all it offers. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean and... More

My wife and I chose the Francis Malbone Inn based on family recommendations and the very high tripadvisor rating. Now we know why they receive such a great rating! The staff, Will, Ann Maria and Janet go above and beyond as far as service! Upon arriving they asked about our stay and asked if we would like suggestions based on... More
