My wife and I just returned from an anniversary trip to Newport, RI It was our first trip and I highly recommend the town. The town was beautiful , the retaurants fantastic and the townspeople warm and friendly. However, we were somewhat disappointed by our experience at the John Easton house. The owner was not as warm and inviting as...

Couldn't get enough of the "To Die For French Toast." The best was that we had off street parking and literally walked everywhere. What a great time and great place to...

There were little amenities such as chocolates on our pillows at night and terrycloth bathrobes. Jan, the innkeeper, is a delight. She obviously enjoys talking...

The John Easton House was a great intro to B & B's in Newport. The house was in a good location, not too close to the hustle and bustle of things, but close enough to have a nice walk to the water and attractions. The room we had was totally warm and inviting, and it was so adorable with it's...

This was a truly lucky find - we were made most welcome and the inn is delightful. The inn-keeper let us check in early as we were the only guests, and having already given us a discounted price, upgraded us to the best room in the house on the basis that as the only guests, we might as well enjoy...
