My husband and I stayed at the Ivy Lodge for one night approximately two weeks ago. I felt the need to write this review because I faithfully check accommodations and restaurant reviews on Trip Advisor before booking. There were some unkind reviews during the winter season that made me question our choice to stay here. But I need to say...

From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and quite at home. Daryl made certain that my every need was taken care of. The recommendations for restaurants (for dinner) were excellent and we especially loved our room ... very romantic and tastefully appointed. The only thing that I would change is possibly the addition of king sized beds. We did...

We gave my son & his bride a 2-night stay at the Ivy Lodge as a wedding gift. They were getting married by a justice of the peace & Daryl suggested they could get married at the B&B. My son was very excited about the idea after visiting the Ivy Lodge & they did indeed get married there. Darlene took...

I'm stationed here in Newport at the Naval War College, not far from the Ivy Lodge. My fiance(my wife now) and I had no plans to go out of town or anywhere, that is, until my mother booked us a room at the Ivy Lodge and suggested that Linda(my wife) and I get married there at the Ivy Lodge Inn....

This is one of the best B&Bs I've stayed at and keep going back. The place is beautiful and the rooms are well appointed. If you need recommendations for dinner or activities, the innkeepers are well versed in the goings on in Newport and will gladly steer you in the right direction. Breakfast includes coffee, tea, juice, selections of pastries,...

Staying in a bed and breakfast can be a risk, but staying at the Ivy Lodge was everything we wanted and more. The accomodiations were absolutely beautiful, the food was spectacular and Darlene and Daryl were very sweet. We loved Newport and staying at the Ivy Lodge made it even nicer. The location is close enough to walk anywhere you...

We really liked the Ivy Lodge but only got to stay 1 night, regrettably. The staff was nice and they were really cool when I showed them a little vase I knocked over!! The foyer is stately....when you walk in, it feels like the place has lot of interesting history and the fireplace is a great touch. Would defintiely stay...

Staying at the Ivy Lodge was such a treat. The house was beautiful (I wish I could cut & paste the lovely green front parlor onto my house), the room quietly elegant and comfortable, the food amazing (we can’t wait to try making the French herbed baked eggs ourselves), the dinner recommendation perfect (we’re still talking about it), and Daryl...

We had a fantastic time on our honeymoon in Newport. The Ivy Lodge was a perfect place to stay- from the dark wood of the gorgeous interior, the cozy in-room fireplace, and gigantic bed, to the wonderful breakfast every morning (it takes a lot to get us to wake up in time for breakfast, and we did not miss a...
