Stayed there one night; there to tour mansions. Location is great, staff helpful, good breakfast. Room was reasonable size, bathroom good except for slow sink due to clog, plus burned out bulb. Not a big deal but perhaps cleaning crew needs to dial up attention to details. We would definitely go back!

Worst Experience in a B & B We knew from the moment we checked in that it didn’t feel right. We were there for a friend’s event hosted at their home only a mile away. They had dropped off a “Welcome Bucket” for us that we asked for several times. It ended up being in another room. On the second...

This was a great little B&B. Our room was tucked away on the third floor, clean and well appointed. The staff was very nice and non-intrusive. The breakfast menu had a diverse selection of five hot entrees; we only woke up early enough for breakfast one day and thoroughly enjoyed it. A few blocks walk from Easton Beach, Cliffs Walk...

Let start by saying the website looks prettier than the actual place. We stayed in the Arthur room, which is considered on of the "Luxury Rooms".....in no way was it luxurious! The curtains were so full of dust, faded and torn, which by the way you can not see on the website. Seems like the room had not been cleaned...

Nothing ladylike about this place - stay away - dishonest staff. Promised refund but reneged when we attempted to process. Upon our arrival the staff saw that we had an infant and promptly panicked. While the property accepts dogs they have a policy buried in their website (had to search to find) prohibiting children under 10. The staff begrudgingly attempted...

Went there for our honey moon night it was a nice place but nothing exceptional, breakfast was nice and our room was ok nothing spectular. The ad said it was near the beach the beach was not within walking distance. the staff was not friendly at all. We'll find a different B&B next time

The team looked after us very well during our stay. Enjoyed our room, peaceful and quiet. Great location to walk into town or beach. Good parking. The grounds are relaxing and great for breakfast weather permitting.

My husband and I were looking forward to staying here. Our room was ok but the bed was small. The room overlooked a main road which must be a truck route because the noise kept us awake and was particularly loud early in the morning ! We were looking forward to breakfast because other reviews on breakfast were good well...

We stayed for one night at the VLI and it was wonderful. The Innkeeper, Cindy, gave us great suggestions for restaurants and new things to do (we visit Newport frequently). The Inn is walking distance to the Cliff Walk and Easton's beach and it's an easy walk down the hill to the Waterfront and Thames Street (many shops, restaurants, etc..)....

We only spent one night in Newport, but very much enjoyed our stay at the Victorian Ladies Inn. We arrived mid-afternoon and when we checked in we were in the main house, upstairs. The stairs were a little narrow and almost spiral at the top, so the innkeeper let us bring our luggage in up the back staircase, which was...
