My boyfriend and I went to Newport for a long weekend in April and it was absolutely amazing staying here! We arrived early and they let us keep our bags there while we went to get food and even gave us some great recommendations to go to! The food and hospitality was amazing and one of the things we loved...

My girlfriend (now fiance) and I stayed at the Cliffside Inn this past Easter weekend. I don't have one negative thing to say. The Inn itself is absolutely beautiful inside and out, and the staff was incredibly accommodating, helpful, and kind. The room was spacious, had a fireplace, and a charming Victorian feel to it. I could have slept in...

We stayed at the Cliffside Inn as our final night of an eight day New England trip. We had been traveling with our 4 year-old , but my brother and his family offered to watch her for one night while my husband and I had a getaway in Newport. What a romantic, luxurious inn! Every touch was thought of, every...

We arrived at the Cliffside about 3.30 and were cheerfully greeted by our hostess and given a tour of the house and shown to our room. The weather was great so we decided to go for a walk along the cliff trail before settling into our room. The cliff trail is a “must do” and starts just 50 feet from...

My husband and I went to the Cliffside Inn to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. This was our first trip to the Cliffside Inn. From the moment we walked in, we felt that we were part of the "Cliffside" family. The staff and inn keepers offered us wine, provided us with maps of the area and offered to help us...

Pam and Brian, Happy 10th Anniversary again! We are so honored you choose the Cliffside for this monumental anniversary (we celebrate 10 in June). We are so glad you were able to enjoy the inn and the town despite the weather. This time of year it's always a bit unpredictable, but hopefully the next time you join us it will...

We stayed in the Atlantic Suite which is across the path from the main house. It was absolutely perfect! A nice view of the ocean from the bedroom, skylights large Jacuzzi and a fireplace in the huge bathroom, and a fireplace in the bedroom and the sitting room as well. Cliffside Inn has become our home away from home. This is our second visit and my wife and I absolutely love it. The rooms are beautiful with modern amenities. The owners Bill, Nancy and Gracie along with the entire staff are fantastic. They are always helpful and very accommodating to any need or want that arises. We left only a...

You'll be happy to know that Gracie has settled right into her role as inn dog! She just needs to learn a few more commands. Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for us. We are thrilled that you love the inn and we look forward to seeing you again soon. All the best, Nancy...

An elegant and well appointed B&B. We stayed in the Tower suite - a lovely room with a view of the Rhode Island sound. The bed was comfortable and sitting by the fireplace next to the expansive windows was very relaxing. Breakfasts were delicious and hearty, with chef specials that are sure to please. Owners are lovely and obviously love...

We stayed for two nights in the St George's School suite. Nice gas "coal stove" with comfortable chairs in the separate sitting area. Incredible shower--room for three (?) people. As nice as the room was, the common areas were the highlight. Pictures I took of the front parlor could be confused with one of the Newport Mansions. If your schedule...

Ted, What a wonderful review. Thank you for taking the time to write it. That shower in St. George's really is something else. The skylight almost makes it seem like an outdoor shower. We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay and all of the amenities of the inn. Fondly, Nancy and Bill

I had to change my reservation that I had made at the Cliffside Inn to a different weekend because I recently got a new job. The inn keeper was extremely nice and very helpful on the phone.
