We stayed at the Mill Street Inn on a snowy weekend in February, but it was a very pleasant stay. As is evident from the website, it has a sleek, modern, feel to it, with exposed brick and an open layout. There was plenty of light in the room from three tall windows and two sets of track lighting. There...

I spent a night here in January, and had a great experience. It is so nice to be in a small hotel, but the room was so spacious and comfortable. I stayed in room 106, a studio. There were complimentary snacks, fruit and water when I arrived, and chocolates at turn down. The breakfast was delicious, and because of the...

What a great little hotel this is. Great location, just 5 minutes from where it is all happening. Free parking. Breakfast was way better than I expected and they even have an afternoon tea in the afternoon 3-6 that is included. It wasn't a 'British' afternoon tea with scones and jam but there was a good selection of hot drinks,...

Loved staying at the Mill Street in with my Mom for a girls getaway! Our room was so cozy/comfortable and the location is perfect to walk anywhere in downtown Newport. (Probably 30 minutes walking to the mansions, so we took a car there). Very big/free breakfast in the morning (with lots of options). Highly recommend this place!

Loved this hotel from the parking to the service, to the rooms. It was great! I would easily go there again. Because it's not huge there isn't much availability while booking a reservation so make sure to book in advance. Usually pricier than others but well worth it.

This is such a wonderful hotel with very attentive and friendly staff (Robert offered so many great suggestions for things to do), a full and delicious breakfast, and large rooms with great amenities, all very close (about 5 min walk) to all the restaurants and shopping. In each room is water, fruit and snacks (sweet covered pretzels and macadamia nuts...

A charming affordable small hotel less than 2blocks from the wharf. It offers a bountiful breakfast and free parking. The rooms are nice size with luxury towels and sheets and a large screen tv. They also include a turn down service complete with chocolates. On top of this the staff is super gracious. Best stay and deal in Newport! Will...

The Mill Street Inn was conveniently located near all of the shops and restaurants (perfect walking distance). The staff was very friendly upon checking in. We loved our suite which included a main level with a TV and couch, and the upper level with a fire place, king size bed and roof deck overlooking the water. Modern, clean and would...

We love small boutique hotels as opposed to chintzy B&B's and large impersonal hotels. The Mill Street Inn fits the bill beautifully. We opted for a suite. The bathroom was great and the furnishings in the living room and bedroom were quite comfortable modern chic. We didn't like the pillows on the bed, too soft and flat; but when we...

We stayed at the Inn for a one night getaway, and I would have loved to stay another night. It more than exceeded our expectations. From the free onsite parking, to the water, snacks and fruit in the room, very friendly and helpful staff, delicious options for afternoon tea to the wonderfully prepared spread provided for breakfast. (all included in...
