The sites are a bit short for larger RV's but the park is right beside the community pool area and a short walk into town. There are large shade trees and the river is just behind the park which is dog friendly.

We stayed July 29 thru August 1. Upon arrival we asked if we could be located next to another family member, since the spots are first come first serve we did not think it would be a problem. We were told we should have called the "direct line" if we had any special requests. Something not mentioned on the Medora...

This campground is beautiful. Our tent was nestled in amongst the cottonwoods right up against the river. Much better quality place than the one down the road. The store is new, offers free morning coffee. Showers were clean, warm with plenty of water pressure. Bathrooms clean and updated. Staff friendly and helpful. For $20 you can't beat it.

We were traveling with 5 people. so it is hard to find a hotel room that will accomodate that number...3 adults and 2 children. So, we usually have to rent a cabin. We had the Grand Dakota cabin, which was alright. It has 2 small bedrooms, a loft, and a futon in living area. It was pretty clean. It was...

Brilliant campground- clean, spacious, great location next door to the Theodore Roosevelt state park entrance. Free coffee, good porch to chill on, laundry, and really helpful but not too over familiar staffing. We loved it. $20 to tent it for the night. Food in Medora is poor and horrifically priced - bring your own! Thanks for a great stay. 😊

My family stayed here on the way to Glacier and again on our return trip. First the good. - Jeanette at the front desk exemplifies what good customer service should be. She is super helpful and a true asset to Medora. The campground is located right next to Theodore Roosevelt National Park and across the road from the Medora Musical....

The shower houses could use updating like they did with the check in store which is much improved. The lots aren't very level, but could be without a lot of work. The lots aren't very generous but could be improved with a nice spot for the picnic tables. Best spots are in the trees along the south side.

I stayed at this campground a few years ago, and loved it. It had good wi-fi, lots of space for the camper, and friendly staff. This time the staff was friendly, but that's about all I can say that's positive. We stayed there both on the way to and on the way back from Yellowstone. It was almost impossible to...

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Theodore Roosevelt National Park. We arrived late, so our paperwork was left on the office door, which was great. After we got our campsite set up, there seemed to be a glitch with their electricity, so we called Jeannette, (the woman with whom we made the reservation). It was almost 10:00 PM...

We hit Medora the first Friday of June, along with lots of folks just starting summer vacation. While just a small trailer, we opted to take one of the larger full hooks ups, having read the reviews about size, etc. It worked for us. When we arrived the lady in the office had two first day on the job young...
