We sadly stayed 1 night at Americana Inn - Route 66. If this is truly an "independent" it is one of the saddest examples I've seen. Desk clerk could have cared less about the people asking questions and checking in...No customer service skills what so ever. Internet didn't work, we called on the gutted phone he said he'd reboot, still...

In America for vacation travelling Route 66. Stopped at this motel on 8th July and paid for a room for 2 nights. When we opened the room door the smell of cat pee was overpowering. The room was shabby and dirty. The bathroom was dirty and needing to be replaced. We did not stay. We immediately went back to reception...

This was a last minute stop while visiting family. The guy working the counter was very friendly and got us a room right away. It was only $55 for a two queen bed which is VERY cheap for Flagstaff. The rooms are a little run down but the room was clean and the bed appeared to be as well. There...

I am not a particular traveler. I only stay in hotels a couple times a year, and don't ask for much other then a decently clean room, and a somewhat clean bed. This room was literally beyond disgusting, when closing the door we noticed something along the walls, which I would describe could be old dried blood. We attempted to...

We stayed here due to the fact that everything else in our price range was booked. This was the nastiest hotel ever! It stank. It was dirty. I was terrified of begbugs. I barely slept all night. My daughter was too disgusted to sleep or use the bathroom. We should have slept in the car. You get what you pay...

Stayed here as last resort at 11:30pm. AC worked great. The remainder of room was deplorable. Bed mattress on top of 2 box springs directly on floor. Sheets & sink stained badly. Bare exposed wires. Holes in window curtain. Missing light bulbs. Worst paint job ever. Better to sleep in car. Desk man Jorge was friendly but weird.

I Have researched many motels in the area but this was the best value for a clean, quiet, comfortable room. However, this old property is enough to sleep but not enough to relax. Not many options in this small town...Bed linnens were over-used, electrical sockets were burnt and so on and so on... but for 45$ is what you get...

I always check the beds before my family comes to sleep in any hotel room. By far filthiest room ever. Bed bugs, smelled horrible and dirty linens. We asked for refund and they refused but offered us another room. Second room was worst then the first one. Mattresses were on the floor and were stained, smelled like an astray. Outside...
