After some meticulous research and planning, I thought the Weatherford would be the perfect place to stay for the night that our Amtrack train was due to arrive from Chicago (at 9pm on a Friday night). Boy, was I WRONG! Bad weather delayed the train by several hours, and when I called the Weatherford to alert them we would arrive...

This is most definitely a character hotel. What we think of as charming others who prefer sterile conformity would not appreciate. It allocated in the middle of Flagstaff, so unlike many other hotels to can actually walk out to a meal, a shop, or a bar. The breakfast was great, we were not too hungry so we ordered a couple...

The Weatherford Hotel is a Flagstaff classic. Built in 1899, it exhibits so many wonderful historic features: tall ceilings, transom windows above the doors, comforting smells (reminding me of many old buildings I have known and loved), creaky staircases, lovely downtown vistas, wrap-around balcony, great location. I loved all of this. Flagstaff is a college town and the hotel and...

We had read a lot of reviews for the Weatherford so we stopped by to check out the place for ourselves. Had a good time in the downstairs bar listening to a script reading and having a local brew and chicken snacks. A fun place.

It's a city with a small town feel. The service here is phenomenal! Quality food and people. I highly recommend it. You can sit in the dining area or the go have a drink on the roof. What's better than that?! It has a nice history too which is always special. Enjoy! Max

We arrived in the middle of a rain/sleet storm, and had a little trouble discovering the small parking area in back. Matt welcomed us and checked us in promptly, and even carried our heavy bags to our second floor room #42 ( he gave us the best room in the hotel). Our room was huge, with a nice sitting area...

We ate breakfast in the public dining area here and it was ok. The server (a male) had no name badge but was very chatty and offered to answer any questions we might have about the hotel and area. The breakfast was average (soggy French toast and tasteless potatoes but nice bacon. It cost us $33 for two.

We went for the history and charm of the hotel, and stayed for the funky experience, and good service. The accomodations are true to their description, staying with the antique theme, and authentic furnishings. There is a restaurant on site, and 4 bars, which made it a lively place in the evenings. (We had no issues with this, as previous...

We went to this hotel as a celebration for my birthday. after I paid with my credit card when checking in, I was informed that there were four bars in and throughout the hotel! Wow what a mistake that was, drunks wandering up and down the halls until around midnight, people rattling my door handle trying to get into our...
