We stayed May 27th 2015 to May 29th. Our first impression when we pulled into the road was this place is loved and we'll cared for. We love rustic and woodsy it was all of this and more very serene. Dealing with their staff was a wonderful experience, Mac was very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. We had...

My husband and I decided to visit in the winter during the offseason. We wanted to escape the Phoenix heat and hopefully enjoy some snow. We stayed in cabin 10 and were very pleased. There were two bedrooms with double beds and a loft which had another double bed and a twin bed. The ladder to the loft is a...

A nice alternative to hotels in the city. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Amazing wood fireplace kept cabin heated well. Bring your own wood. The kitchen is stocked w/ basic necessities too. The cabins are well spaced so there's plenty of privacy.

Thanks, Daniel! I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Folks are more than welcome to bring their own wood, but it does need to be cut to 15" or less in order to fit into the stoves. For those that don't know, there are gas heaters in the cabins as well. See you next time! Thanks for your business!

Staff was very rude at check inn they were in a hurry to leave and rolled their eyes when we asked questions. Cabin #7 was dirty when we arrived the furnace wouldn't quit, it felt like an inferno. After many after hour calls to report the incident nobody returned our call. We left in the middle of the night and...

Was only going to be in Flagstaff one night and wanted something different then a hotel room. Cabin # 1 was perfect for three adults and one child for $200 off season rate. It could sleep three couples that got along well as the layout was nice. Fully functional kitchen with microwave, dinning area, seating area with cool wood stove,...

Cabin 1 is a great cabin, isn't it! It's very unique and super spacious! You're right in that it's the only one with a fenced yard. So glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for the incredible review!

After several days of staying in hotels throughout Arizona, the cabins here made for a nice change of pace. The kitchenette here allowed us to cook most of our meals, and the feeling of being in the middle of the woods was great. Our cabin (#7) was charmingly rustic, but it was also equipped with most of the modern amenities...

I'm so glad you enjoyed Cabin 7! It's my favorite 2-4 person cabin. I love that it has a sofa and a chair in the living room and as you mentioned the wonderful view! Cabins 6 and 8 also have fabulous views. Cabin 7 also has the perfect little sledding hill out front for the younger kids. Thanks so much...

Humphreys Peak that is... We visited the Arizona Mountain Inn for two nights during the third week of September, 2014. Our reservation was for Cabin #6, which was advertised as having the best view of Humphreys Peak. The property is just a short distance from AZ Interstate 17 exit 339 and a one mile drive on Lake Mary Road. It...

We rented the whole place for our 3 day business meeting. The name, "Boot Camp," should have clued in participants that this was a "rustic" event. The management provided small flashlights for lodgers. We were allowed to set up a large rental tent for our meeting. We had good comments from over 95% of our participants. The woods are beautiful,...

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay in Cabin 8. The deck on Cabin 8 was recently expanded in order to really enjoy the mountain views from the porch. I'm not sure why Cabin 8's internal staircase was designed to hang the way it does, but we definitely try NOT to put tall people in that cabin just for that...

Lovely setting. Cabins need a lot of up dating. I know it's meant to be rustic but particle board walls and grungy bathrooms just are not attractive. The bath set up in the Hogan is crazy. The ladders to the bedrooms in the smaller cabins just does not work for adults.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the setting. The Hogan is a very interesting cabin, but the original owner really wanted it to have 3 complete master bedrooms which is why the bathrooms are in the bedrooms. It's probably not the most optimal scenario for a business setting, but works great for family gatherings. Sounds like you were in either Cabin...
