We needed a quick relaxing getaway and woodruff house provided the best atmosphere. They had excellent accommodations, suggestions for place to go out and visit, and a superb breakfast. We were made to feel right at home when we checked in. The house was very clean and organized. They provided free Wi-Fi and info books with local restaurants and sites.... More

After a long drive down to Luray, the Woodruff House was a perfect place to rest and relax to start the next day fresh. The house is beautiful, with nice antiques throughout and well maintained. The rooftop suite was a perfect mix of comfort and rustic charm. The exposed wood of the roof, the neat "outhouse" for the bathroom, nice... More

We had a really wonderful stay at this B&B a few weeks ago. All the rooms are really quaint with their own special character. We stayed in the loft suite and were delighted with the cosy feel for what is a sizable room. We enjoyed the use of the jacuzzi and loved all the antiques. The bed was comfy and... More

Woodruff House was booked, but you can also book cabin rentals on their website. We rented the Mountain Cottage for 2 nights in October. 2 bedroom; 2 bathroom very spacious, clean house with a gas fireplace, large kitchen. About a 15 minute drive from downtown Luray. No direct views from house, but near Shenandoah river. All in all, a great... More

Wonderful hostess. Do not choose "Dorothy's Loft" as your room, unless you don't mind walking downstairs and thru the kitchen to use the shower. And, you can only see the TV from the bed. And, dresser drawers do not open. And, faux fireplace door fell off when opened. Perhaps a different room would make it a very good experience.

Donna, our host could not have been a better host for our one night stay. She is the ultimate description of "Southern Charm". The room descriptions on the website cannot be improved by me and were very accurate. Our room was neat and clean. We were the only two couples in the house, and Donna or her husband were available... More

Stayed over here for 2 nights as wife and I explored the area and visited Luray cavern. The b&b has everything; it is close to shops, has great rooms and the owners were amazing! Donna was just the nicest person ever and the food was Fantastic!

We stayed at the Woodruff Inn for one night on a weekend trip to Luray Caverns and it was just lovely. The Inn owner Donna is just super; as soon as we walked in she treated us like we were old friends, showed us around the delightful property and gave us tons of information about the town and great advice... We greatly enjoyed Donna's fabulous hospitality in this cozy and well-appointed inn. The common areas and our suite incorporated an impressive array of amenities, and the warm welcome and tour we received showed us immediately that we'd chosen a great place. Unlike many B&B's, Woodruff House goes out of its way to encourage the guests to enjoy the common areas... More
