The Best Views In Luray!Over the winter we have undergone a number of upgrades and renovations! We have added mini split HVAC units to all of the bedrooms and cottage, renovated several of the bathrooms, upgraded beds, replaced the linens and towels, refinished the floors, repainted, added lighting and more! We will continue to make upgrades in the near future. Come out and see what we've done. If you are looking for a relaxed, comfortable get away, that close to everything the Luray area has to offer, we are your best choice. Our family friendly B & B, originally built in 1865 is nestled between the Shenandoah National Park and the George Washington National Forest and features stunning views of the mountains and town. We provide six guest bedrooms in the B&B, all with private baths/showers. A delicious, complete breakfast is served each morning for B&B guests. We also provide a 2 bedroom cottage, breakfast not included, which features a small kitchen, space for 6 guests and a private 8 X 30 ft deck for enjoying the breathtaking mountain views. The scenery can also be appreciated from our spacious front porch, from our 4 person hot tub, and many of our guest rooms.

Amazing hosts, super attentive to every detail and overall a great weekend! It is a beautiful property, current owners have done incredible remodel work, keeping all the historic charm but ensuring every room had all the modern commodities, including a private bathroom. The inn is kept super clean, and the incredible amount of thought and work they put into their breakfasts make for the perfect start of the day. The grounds are well kept, with plenty of outdoor space and social areas, and a gorgeous wrap around porch. To make it even better during the evening they have a fire pit for all guests to enjoy. On our second night, they surprised us with hot chocolate by the fire. They were also very helpful with ideas for our hiking adventure in Shenandoah, extremely valuable since they also keep the trails literature and share their insight for the area. Beyond the unique recommendations it also saves you tons of time and headache at the park. I will highly recommend the inn, and look forward to a prompt return!

We stayed in the Overlook Room during a weekend get away and LOVED it. The room was lovely, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and the views from the room are beautiful. Hugh, the manager, was very friendly, accommodating and made sure all of our needs were met. Gregory the owner was also terrific, checking in with us to make sure we had what we needed. The breakfast was delicious and accommodated my gluten free diet. All around 5 stars.

My boyfriend and I were impressed by all MayneView had to offer. The innkeeper, Hugh, was amazing!! He was extremely welcoming, accommodating, responsive, and breakfast was excellent. We stayed in the Hawksbill room which was perfect size and has an amazing view. The weather was very icy and cold one of the days we were there, so it was great that it was safe/easy to walk into town when driving was not an option (About a 15 min walk). We loved The Valley Cork for drinks and good food. When we could drive, we traveled to Castle Vineyards to play some pool and drink good wine! We’d stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Valentine’s Day weekend at the Mayneview B&B, the hospitality, food, and attention to detail were outstanding! We stayed in the spacious room in the attic where it was nice to relax in front of the fire. The room also has a jacuzzi tub which is a great feature. The innkeeper Hugh served incredible breakfasts every morning, and there are always sweet treats available. The location is very convenient, we were able to walk to restaurants, downtown, etc. and the Caverns are only about a mile away. This is one of the best places we have ever stayed, and thank you to the owners for also leaving us an American flag as veterans. We are always happy to support our fellow veterans businesses and can’t wait to be back!

Nothing but praise for this lovely B&B. The innkeeper Hugh goes above and beyond in attending to the guests. We stayed in the luray room. It is very clean and comfortable. The private bathroom is newly renovated.
