We love Piney Hill, and first visited about 10 years ago. The owners, Hank and Wiley, haven't lost their touch. The inn and service are impeccable. The location is perfectly situation near the Thornton Gap entrance to Skyline Drive and wineries and breweries are a short 30 minute ride. Our favorite part of a Piney Hill stay really is its...

This was my second visit for my wedding anniversary and this time we stayed in the Walter Rogers room on the first floor. Although the room is located near the entrance, there was no problem with noise. Further, the room is well insulated so not much sound comes from upstairs. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed to...

Thank you, Wiley and Hank, for providing me with a comfortable, spotless accommodation in the Walter Thompson room during my niece's wedding weekend. Your friendly welcome and advice led our party to enjoy a fabulous dinner at Mimslyn Inn, your own beautifully prepared and presented breakfasts and snacks, a visit to the amazing Luray Caverns, and the relaxing setting of...

Our visit to Piney Hills B&B was, to put in simple terms, awesome! The day before we arrived, I was contacted by one of the proprietors to confirm our arrival time so that they could be there to welcome us. After hearing about Piney Hill B & B from a co-worker who has stayed here several times, my husband booked a 4 night stay in the Hurley Byrd Cottage to celebrate my milestone birthday. We have stayed in other B & Bs, but have never experienced hospitality like this and there is nothing else that could have been offered that...

Piney Hill is everything we could have wished for in a B&B. Right from the beginning, it was obvious the reason this B&B is so successful is because Hank and Wiley love what they do and go above and beyond to ensure that their guests enjoy their stay. We were welcomed warmly upon our arrival and given a map with...

Wonderful stay at the Rosebud cottage. Perfect getaway for mind, body and soul. Wiley and Hank are fabulous inn-keepers. A sign in the gift cottage sums it all up - "Enter as strangers, leave as friends".

Hank and Wiley were very hospitable--customer service is the true reason that their B&B is ranked #1 in Luray! It's great that they were knowledgeable about Luray. They provided a detailed array of menus from all of the best restaurants in the area from fine dining to a local deli and diner. We had a wonderful time on the Stoneyman...
