A beautiful resort with a very friendly staff. We stayed a Saturday night for a wine pairing dinner that was so delicious. Our waitress, Kristin, was so helpful and attentive. Circa 31 is a must to eat at as the decor with magnificent chandeliers is wonderful. We even had beautiful snow flurries that night. We used the small exercise room...

Easy to find, beautiful, historic, renovated hotel. Check in was easy and our room was decent sized for a historic hotel, clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is elegant and full of old school glamour. The casual speakeasy restaurant/lounge is fun, the Circa 31 restaurant is fabulous fine dining. Right off downtown and five minutes from the caverns this is...

I have stayed in luxury resorts and cruised several countries. The Mimslyn is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. The staff and entire town are very friendly. An absolute must when visiting Luray.

My wife and I just got back from spending New Year's Eve at the Mimslyn and there are not enough positive superlatives in my vocabulary to express my admiration for this fine old hotel. The food was delcious from the 5 course meal we had in the Circa 31 room to the unbelievably large and diverse Brunch the following day....

Paul recommended both the breakfast and brunch and we were very pleased with both. Both the food and service were excellent. Jessica was good waitress and Robin the host was very helpful. We visited at the end of the summer 2013 and will return this year as well.

What a beautiful hotel for a Sunday brunch. Having grown up in Virginia I never realized this jewel of a hotel right down the road from Luray caverns. While we did not stay at the hotel, I could tell that then guests staying there were very happy with the accommodations. We had Sunday brunch which was fabulous. They had a...

Originally we were planning to hike the MD section of the AT until I had surgery. So I wanted to get away without losing my connection to the outdoors. This is the place to do it! We are close to day hikes in Shenandoah, Luray Caverns, and tons of other close by local charm. We even had an hour massage...

Lovely inn with great food and very accomodating service. Enjoy unique circular staircase up to second floor and sunny lounge beside the elevator on third floor. Speakeasy restaurant and breakfast in dining room serve excellent food, especially great muffins in am. If you plan to spend significant time in your room, spring for a suite as the regular rooms, while...

My husband and I had reservations for a suite with a fireplace, the fireplace was warm and welcoming, the room spacious and comfortable, and the staff superb in looking after our every interest! Would recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet get away or exploring the beautiful surroundings. Plenty to do if you so choose. Recommend the experience highly!

We headed to Luray on a whim with no reservations, saw The Mimslyn and immediately fell in love. Situated on small hill, it is lovely to look at and has a great view. Although the room is smallish (particularly with king bed) as it is an historical inn, it was very comfortable and well-equipped. All the staff are attentive, helpful...
