So,so disappointed! We checked in late on a Friday. The hotel was at best at 20% capacity. We asked for the best rate AARP, AAA, etc. They hit us with $156.00 with tax. Once we checked into the room we found the following: 1. The rooms were completely outdated they even had a microwave with a turnstile. 2.The toilet ran all night 3. There was tile missing from the shower 4. The beds squeaked. 5. Breakfast - Granola Bars and OJ. - Really We would have left in a nanosecond but we were to exhausted from a trail hike that had gone bad. Two words:. Stay Away!
The rooms are severely rundown and outdated. Like most buildings now, the rooms are non-smoking but yet there were old(?) cigarette burns on many surfaces , including the bathtub. The bed linens were faded and worn. Furniture has definitely seen better days. The only good thing about our stay was that the front desk clerk was very friendly, polite, informative and helpful.
The night immediately got off to a bad start as we approached the front desk we got sprayed with lysol. The front desk person explain that covid was still with us apparently not realizing that mask wearing is much more effective than Lysol spray at protecting against covid. He then told us that our room got taken by Expedia he did eventually resolve it but not before trying to do a bunch of other things including taking a phone call instead of putting the call on hold. We also had a problem with the room key not working and a strong odor when the heat was first turned on. Breakfast was adisappointment had to wait for coffee and the only food was granola bars. The bed itself was okay and we did eventually get a decent night's sleep but have had better experiences elsewhere.
Roaches in my room, the room I originally booked was given to another guest, I was forced to pay a higher price for a room level I didnt want, I dont call 1 granola bar breakfast, the little piece of paper that was given to me stating that they did not have housekeeping staff and if I needed something to come to front desk was not appropriate, the lights in my room that were supposed to have 2 light bulbs only had 1 and my room was very dark. My room only had half a roll of toilet paper on the spool with no spare roll available. This location bordered on a 0 star rating as far as I am concerned. I will not be staying and anything with the Wyndham brand ever again due to the complete lack of brand standards.
The rooms need repair and attention to detail from the cleaning staff. Also the hotel needs updating with landscaping. The free breakfast is just a breakfast bar of really only one flavor. Staff is friendly and helpful.
The place is a dump. Dirty, old and unkempt. No continental breakfast. No pool. Dead bugs all over the rooms. Saggy beds. Extremely over priced for the condition of the hotel. Cheap, tiny, rough towels/washcloths. Felt dirty walking onto the hotel property.
Very beautiful area, hotel landscaping was beautiful, but our room was terrible. Rotted door frames, dirty bathrooms, dirty carpet, bed was worn out. Pricey for what you got. We stayed at 2 other hotels in the general area, almost half the price with way cleaner updated rooms.
This is a motel, not a hotel. The outside looked very sketchy, the pool was broken, and breakfast was a granola bar and juice. The room was relatively clean. The staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable. Not worth the money. If we travel here again, I will gladly spend the extra money to stay elsewhere.
No shower towels, really Dirty Sheets with eye makeup on pillow cases and oil stain on sheets. They were never changed which is especially troubling during the Covid pandemic! Did not give replacements for pillow cases when requested a new clean set of sheets & pillow cases! Dirty/Moldy Shower, Dirty walls, Dirty Toilet with previous users hair in and on it. Pool was closed, said missing part but it was clear it was to save money. I got burnt from coffee machine which did not turn off the coffee flow when I released button. I cleaned the spill as the girl behind the counter saw it and went in the back. No breakfast as advertised, just Coffee, Tea, Juice and one granola candy bar each person. Stay away from this dirty mess!
it was a place to sleep. im there to site see and travel around. not stay in and sleep. the vibe i got from the room was it was a blast from the past of the 70s. i purposely reserved the room with the spa tub, but i was Leary to use it. it could be because i have severe ocd
