All I can do is echo what all the other 5-star reviews have already said about this place. For me and my two grown children and their spouses, it was pure heaven. Great beds, beautiful setting next to the Kaweah River, a quick walk to the neighboring restaurant (which will do take-out, by the way). We ate kumquats from the...

I rolled the dice and drove into the Three Rivers area one evening to find a room. The Buckeye Tree Lodge appealed to me because it is right on the river. You could hear the river in your room with the doors and windows closed. You are steps away where you could climb on rocks in the river and see/hear...

We stayed here for one night on a road trip through California while we visited Sequoia Park. The park entrance is practically walking distance to the Buckeye (mind you, it would be a long walk up into the Big Trees area!!). Our room was clean and spacious and our back door opened to a little area to sit and watch...

Excellent "Mom and Pop" type of rustic motel in perfect location on river! Having been a hotel investor (Marriott, Intercontinental, Choice) we have stayed at all levels of hotels/motels. Perhaps that is why we soooo appreciate a "mom and pop" type of no-frills motel that is clean, comfortable, roomy and caters to the customer. Buckeye Tree Lodge is now on...

The location next to a roaring river and rooms that look out over it really make this place special. Although interior is a bit dated the rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. Basket with muffins and friuits a nice touch.

After a long trip from Southern California, arriving at the Buckeye Tree Lodge was great. Staff was very friendly and informal, and the room itself had a wonderful view (and sound) of the nearby river. It truly felt like an introduction to the magnificant Sequoia Park ahead. If anything, I would comment that breakfast shouldn't be called as much, as...

Visiting Sequoia National Park was a great experience. It's not only about the trees (which are majestic in their own right), but the whole park is full of beautiful surroundings. Driving through the park is an experience that you will never forget. We stayed at Buckeye Tree Lodge on the first floor and the view of the mountains and the...

Cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the stayed so much we stayed an extra day. The main hotel was full so they gave us one of the cabins for the same price. We had never stayed in a cabin before and loved it. Sitting outside with the fire pit on the patio was a great way to relax. Having a quality...

I loved my stay at Buckeye Tree Lodge. I was in Three Rivers doing some house-hunting and kept deciding at the last minute to stay another day - I spent three out of four nights at Buckeye Tree Lodge, and I fully expect to return. Because of the last-minute nature of my trip, I stayed in three different rooms, all...
