My husband and I have been traveling this month to break up the winters in Michigan. One of our favorite stays is at the LaFonda in Santa Fe. When we arrived, we were greeted by Adam , who loaded our luggage and directed us to check in . Once there, Anita went above and beyond to see that we were...

This is an amazing & affordable place to stay. The restaurant downstairs was delicious. It is located in the middle of the Plaza, near churches, galleries, and walking distance to Canyon Road. My 10-year-old son loved the hotel and the galleries.

La Fonda is a lovely place to stay, dine and shop. Their staff members are friendly and professional. The rooms are cozy, comfortable and very attractive. In fact, you feel cherished and who doesn't want to feel cherished? The hotel is very central and has a shuttle service to the Opera House. I recently heard that when white peaches are...

Restaurant is amazingly good. Bar is fun. People are friendly. Upgrading the room is a good idea as the base rooms are very small. They are nice, just small. We stayed on concierge level and they had snacks, waters, and personal service! Great stay at la Fonda!

Very pretty hotel and beds are comfortable. Wish the bathrooms were bigger not much space for your stuff. Shower is weird as there is no door on it so glad they give you lots of towels. Also nice to have in room coffee but it's pretty bad coffee. Lots of great shops on property and restaurant gets busy. We enjoyed...

They remodeled the hotel last year and did an excellent job making it more appealing and open. We have traditionally stayed at other hotels when visiting but staying at La Fonda was a real treat - the service was excellent and being right in the square was a huge plus - so close to the shops and amenities. We love...

Great location on the square. Beautiful hotel and rooms. It was New Years week and the only bad experience was trying to eat in the hotel restaurant during this busy time. But that is to be expected. Very friendly staff, suite was beautiful!!! Fun times!! The bar in the hotel is a fun place!! The New Years party in the...

From our nicely decorated room, to the gorgeously decorated hotel, we loved just about everything at this hotel. Even the fire hose container was painted in a floral design. There was a very nice restaurant in the lobby, a great bar too. The staff, very numerous, were very helpful and friendly. This is a perfect location to explore old Santa...

This is a fabulous hotel!!!! All of the staff went out of their way to help in any way they could. The hotel itself is so historic and yet has been brought up to modern standards. On the historic square and convenient to the whole city, the hacienda has the feel of old New Mexico (in the best of ways)....

My wife and I were able to get away to Santa Fe for the New Year's celebration on the plaza. It was important to us to stay on the plaza so that we wouldn't have to take the car anywhere. La Fonda on the Plaza was a great, albeit expensive, place to stay. The hotel is very posh and elegant....
