We enjoyed our visit at the Loretto immensely. Attentive staff, peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The housekeeping staff seemed a bit arrogant however, but they did a superb job with our room. The restaurant and Living Room staff were phenomenal.

Rooms and facility were very nice. Rooms were not as large as portrayed on website. I would recommend a balcony if you are staying a few days, they open up the space and provide a nice atmosphere. Staff and service were great, location was wonderful....More

It's an easy walk to the main square, literally less than 3 blocks. I didn't use my car the whole time I stayed there.

I would say no. Snow is possible in October. We visit Santa Fe often, and it isn't going to be hot enough to lay by the pool in late October.
