So we didn't have reservations and walked in to check out the rooms. They are a little drab and very dated but we were looking for a little character and the price is right and the location is a little closer to the Plaza than some of the other chain hotels. We were looking to stay in one of the...

We stayed at Kings Rest Court for the Indian Market. We had Room #11, which has 2 separate bedrooms (quite convenient). The family that owns this place does a great job with customer service and cleanliness of the rooms. We had a very comfortable stay, and it was easy getting to the market. Although it is older than me, I...

I encountered a front desk clerk who became belligerent in response to my (diplomatic) dismay over the motel not having my reservation and having booked the last non-smoking room just seconds before. I tried to laugh off his attitude and he literally mocked my laugh. I told him that I would report this to the CVB and Better Business Bureau...

Santa Fe is expensive and the inexpensive lodgings are located on Cerillos, which is also Route 66. There are a string on locally owned and operated motels along here, as well as a number of chains. We don't do chains if at all possible, so these places suit us just fine. While somewhat dated, the rooms are clean and have...

It's clean, convenient, friendly and CHEAP. Plus, it has these funky retro carports between the units which make it easy to unload the car. Aside from the cheapness, I actually liked it, but then I was only there to crash. You may not want to book it for your honeymoon, but it serves as an eminently crash worthy spot in...

We decided to give this inn (built in 1939) a try as it was rated #1 for budget hotels in Santa Fe. Please do not expect anything fancy, no fuss or amenities (except a 'frig and a nice on-the-wall thin t.v.) and be prepared for the flame-heated heater. This is a period Santa Fe hotel. There is no pool. We...

Oh yeah, you can hear the road. Service was pretty much nothing. Kid asked for my license, made me sign something, and handed me a key. I said, "okay, great, number 5, where is this room?“ He barely spoke saying it was around the corner. Sure enough, if you look at the picture on trip advisor, you'll see the front...

We needed several rooms to put up guests for a wedding. Given the cost of staying in Santa Fe, this was a very economical alternative and ended up being fun for everyone. I was skeptical, but had received a recommendation from a local who swears by the place. The staff was wonderful, very polite, efficient, and helpful. All of the...

Contrary to some booking websites, this Motel does offer free WiFi service. It worked very nicely when I stayed there in January. My room was close to the road, opposite the reception. I could hear some cars driving by, but it did not affect my sleep at all. I did sleep well at the King's Rest Court. My booking attempt...
