We stayed in one of the rooms facing Alameda in December and thought it was spacious and cozy - we used the fireplace constantly while we were in the room. The location is perfect for walking to shops and restaurants.

The Inn is comfortable and conveniently located to Santa Fe attractions. Although the Inn has limited amenities, the breakfast buffet was very nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. If you have any mobility issues make sure the room reserved will accommodate your access.

This is the second visit for me at the Inn on the Alameda. I loved it the first trip so it was a no brainer to stay there again. It's such a beautiful property with a cozy fireplace in the lobby/living room. (I visited at Christmas so this was essential). Also it's a prime

Any room recommendations ?
We have stayed in a second floor room with balcony and a ground floor with an enclosed patio. Noise was not an issue with either, but I liked the ground floor with enclosed patio best.

I am sitting here with my mini Schnazer gluded to my side as thunder storms move thru Dallas. (He's a wimp!) I was thinking what a lucky boy you have that his parents love him so much and want to travel with him (or her). I bet he's a beauty! I know there are patios on the 1st floor so I believe they can accomodate your request. Have a lovely time. I'm jealous and want to go back!

We had my "almost" 5 year old granddaughter and she loved it. There are outside sitting areas where birds and rabbits showed up frequently. She is an only child and accustomed to adult company so don't know if that influenced her enjoyment but she did great there. It is close enough to the plaza to walk - takes about 10
